Israeli strikes hit Gaza water plant as Hamas denounces genocide

from al Mayadeen English

Israeli occupation aircraft carried out a series of airstrikes west and northwest of Gaza City, targeting civilian areas and vital infrastructure in the besieged Gaza Strip, Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in Gaza reports.

The strikes targeted a desalination plant near Sheikh Radwan Market in northwest Gaza City, damaging infrastructure essential to the provision of water to Palestinians.

Israeli attacks also destroyed the Asqalan prayer hall in the northern al-Shati refugee camp, with Palestinians wounded after the prayer hall and a nearby home were struck.

In Block 7 of the al-Bureij refugee camp, one Palestinian was killed and others were wounded when Israeli forces bombed a home belonging to the al-War family.

Israeli forces also shot and wounded a woman and another Palestinian in the al-Shuja'iyya and al-Zaytoun neighborhoods east of Gaza City.

In Khan Younis in southern Gaza, a Palestinian woman was killed and others were wounded in an Israeli attack in the western al-Satar area.
