A senior official of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas says the United States’ position is still to provide unrestricted support for Israel's killing of innocent Palestinians in Gaza as the Tel Aviv regime is pressing ahead with its genocidal war on the besieged territory.
Osama Hamdan, chief of Hamas’ Foreign relations and member of its political bureau said on Sunday that the US government’s positions vis-à-vis the war has provided the Israeli regime with the opportunity to continue its crimes in Gaza, according to Palestine's Sama news agency, citing Al Araby TV channel.
He further said that the Israeli regime is not looking for a ceasefire and therefore continues killing Palestinians by the use of "siege and hunger.”
Pointing to the truce talks, Hamdan said Hamas officials received a letter of invitation to visit the Egyptian capital Cairo and that he was surprised by some reports that allege a Hamas delegation being sent to deliver the movement's response...
