After listening to a month’s worth of the complicit media yelling their outrage at Sean Spicer, Devin Nunes, Judge Napolitano, Donald Trump and all the other “conspiracy theorists” (myself included) who dared suggest it was even slightly possible that British intelligence agencies used the 5 Eyes program to spy on the Trump campaign staff in the lead-up to the election and then share that information with the Obama administration (who at the time was working as a surrogate for the Hillary team) today we have confirmation that, yes, GCHQ and other British intel services did in fact spy on team Trump and share the information they collected with Obama. And it predates the “Russian hacking” bull crap.
- GCHQ was the first to intercept messages between Trump aides and Russia in 2015
- GCHQ `principal whistleblower over Trump team´s Russia links´
- British spies were first to spot Trump team’s links with Russia
The narrative being sculpted is that the Brits were simply assisting in the ongoing investigation into the “Russian hacking” story but the truth is, their intel dates back to late 2015… long before the “Russian hacking” narrative.
The Guardian, who broke this story, say “It is understood that GCHQ was at no point carrying out a targeted operation against Trump or his team or proactively seeking information..” and that is it in terms of providing any substantial evidence at all that they weren’t deliberately targeting the Trump campaign staff during the election process looking for juicy info they could feed Obama and American intelligence services to use against him in the election.
Turns out, a number of foreign agencies had their hands in the effort to thwart the Trump candidacy and Russia wasn’t one of them.
“.. other Western agencies, including from France, Germany, Estonia, Poland, the Netherlands and Australia, were said to have passed on further information.” Daily Mail
If you think that means this wasn’t done under the 5 Eyes program because that only includes Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States… think again.
The 5 Eyes became the 9 eyes when Denmark, France, the Netherlands and Norway joined the party
And that became the 14 Eyes when they opened up membership to Germany, Belgium, Italy, Spain and Sweden.
So of the 7 countries that did actually try to influence our election (Russia NOT being one of them) only Poland and Estonia aren’t part of this intel sharing agreement known as the 14 Eyes.
At the very least, the Guardian did acknowledge the lies told to us by GCHQ in the early days of this intel crisis:
“The White House press secretary, Sean Spicer, claimed the “British spying agency? GCHQ had carried out the bugging. Spicer cited an unsubstantiated report on Fox News. Fox later distanced itself from the report.
The claims prompted an extremely unusual rebuke from GCHQ, which generally refrains from commenting on all intelligence matters. The agency described the allegations first made by a former judge turned media commentator, Andrew Napolitano, as “nonsense?.
“They are utterly ridiculous and should be ignored,? a spokesperson for GCHQ said.
Instead both US and UK intelligence sources acknowledge that GCHQ played an early, prominent role…” Guardian
Most reports I have read suggest the Brits were trying to pass off this intel to the CIA and the FBI and various other U.S. agencies for a while before they bought into it. Apparently they understood just how sticky the situation could become were word to leak out that foreign nations were interfering with our election process.
But eventually, the information they passed on ended up in the right hands and it was weaponized for political purposes.
When Spicer mentioned this spying during a press conference in early March based on reporting from Andrew Napolitano on Fox News, the press and various congress critters went wild. They demanded the president retract his statement immediately for fear it would harm our “special relationship” with Britain.
“The conspiracy theorizing also tested what is often called the special relationship between the United States and Britain…
Foreign policy analysts expressed astonishment that Mr. Trump would so cavalierly endanger that partnership. “It illustrates the extent to which the White House really doesn’t care what damage they do to crucial relationships in order to avoid admitting their dishonesty,? said Kori Schake, a former national security aide to President George W. Bush now at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution. “America’s allies are having to protect themselves against being tarred with the White House’s mendacity.? New York Times
You have to remember, back then, just a month ago, the press considered Donald Trump to be Putin’s Manchurian Candidate and were convinced he was deliberately undermining our democratic institutions in an effort to destroy the country from within.
Today, after he bombed a couple nations and handed over control of his administration to the Goldman Sachs wing of his cabinet, the presstitues like Joe Scarborough have nothing but praise for the man.
We know Susan Rice violated the law by unmasking private citizens’ names relating to intel our agencies collected on the Trump campaign staff (clearly the 14 Eyes intel wasn’t masked)
And now we know that the Obama White House was regularly collecting even more intel from the 14-eyed beast of unfettered Western Globalism going all the way back to 2015 for the exact same purpose.
At what point are we going to come to the understanding that this had nothing to do with the bogus claims that the collection of this data was “collateral” or “incidental” to the mythical “Russian hacking” investigation?
Look, you don’t have to find that big October Surprise smoking gun bit of info to influence an election. Simply understanding a campaign’s moves before they go public with them provides their opponents with a huge advantage.
Remember the trouble Danna Brazile got into when it became clear she had feed questions to the Clinton campaign prior to debate so they could prepare their candidate to answer them?
Think of the work being done by the 14 Eyes in the same fashion. It’s an incredible advantage and one, if we don’t make a big deal about this, that literally threatens our entire election process in a deeply significant way.
At this point, we don’t know the full scope of this spying.
We don’t know if they were spying on Trump to help him win the nomination so he could lose to Hillary.
We don’t know if they spied on the Sanders campaign to help Hillary beat him to the populist punch, so to speak.
We know that Sanders supporters were purged off the party registration files prior to various state primary elections. How did the Clinton team know with relative certainty, who was going to vote for Bernie Sanders?
And for the record, we don’t know how someone figured out Seth Rich was the DNC employee who leaked the emails to Wilileaks. Who fingered him for the hit? How did they know? Did the 14 Eyes tell em? Did the CIA honeypot known as Wikileaks?
No. Russia did not hack our election or try to usurp our democracy by having RT report on news of Hillary’s corruption. That’s not international espionage, that’s just called “journalism”
But someone did. Someone exposed Hillary Clinton’s, the DNC’s and John Podesta’s corruption.
And someone tried to offset that by spying on the Trump campaign for nearly two years and that someone has the full power of the 14 Eyes at their disposal.
Judge Nap was right.
Sean Spicer was right.
Donald Trump was right.
And all the “conspiracy theorists” were right.
Let’s see the apologies from the likes of Joe Scarborough start piling up. You waiting for that? Well you wont see it. Because Mockingbirds are part of the 14 Eyes.
