Obama’s reboot of Bush’s Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act of 2007 is only PART of the Kafkaesque picture
The globalists are salivating. They are poised to make a huge grab for that brass ring that only undemocratic, executive action can provide. The kind that unelected unaccountable technocrats in places like Greece, Ukraine and Detroit can make. And these guys are doing it right here in the states before our very eyes.
But don’t worry, the globalist guy who brought us the nightmare of NAFTA and brought Haiti the nightmare of neoliberalism says it’s unavoidable and legal and in 20 years or so, even the peasants will approve.
(Bill) Clinton sought to frame the debate in a larger context, saying Americans should be optimistic about the nation’s future. He said the next two decades could be positive for the country if the U.S. can develop inclusive economics and inclusive politics (pro-Business globalization).
“In a world where borders look more like nets than walls, we are interdependent whether we like it or not, so the only thing that remains is to define the terms of our interdependence,” he said. AP
Of course, that’s not exactly the case. Neoliberal Globalization is often referred to as a given by the globalists and their sycophantic minions. Something that is inevitable and unavoidable.
Interdependency is not a prerequisite for a nation’s success or it’s people’s prosperity these days. Libya was a gem prior to Barack Obama and Bill Clinton’s wife bombing them into the fold. Now look at them. Ukraine had it’s gold reserves stolen which sent them into instant poverty on the world stage and now the technocrats we put in power are busy installing the mandated austerity measures on the people.
Neoliberal globalization was so hated by the people of Russia during the Yeltsin years, a man from the KGB rose to power and took control and the people of Russia who once lived under the brutal rule of that agency loved him for it and still do to this very day.
Compare Russia now to what it was under the “like it or not” interdependency of Neoliberal Globalization and you quickly come to understand why globalists hate that country so much. It’s a bad example to them with nuclear weapons. The globalist’s living nightmare: a country they cannot bribe, color revolutionize or humanitrianly bomb into compliance.
For globalists like Bill Clinton, it is not that he doesn’t “like it”. Of course he likes it. He makes billions of dollars per year with his Clinton Global(ist) Foundation, exploiting opportunities as they arrive as he did in the aftermath of the disaster in Haiti along with his buddy, George Bush. You don’t like it and you WONT like it. But that doesn’t matter to people like Bill Clinton.
Never has.
The push is on to remake America into Chile circa 1973. The Miracle of America I call it.
Sequestration: The Obama Created Miracle of America Planned Genocidal Austerity Begins Mar. 2013
Barack Obama is Not “the greatest man of our generation” June 2009
The “Miracle of America”: Addendum Feb. 2010
You have to understand how all of this is related and that it is not a coincidence that it’s coming to a head at this particular time. And “why?” of course.
So many focus right now on Obama’s illegal executive action on immigration and that’s understandable. It’s going to hurt a lot of people while benefiting a very few billionaires and oligarchs and even Obama himself knows it. At least he used to.
“If this huge influx of mostly low-skill workers provides some benefits to the economy as a whole—especially by keeping our workforce young, in contrast to an increasingly geriatric Europe and Japan—it also threatens to depress further the wages of blue-collar Americans and put strains on an already overburdened safety net.” Obama
Let’s put Obama’s new 4.4 million “legal” (read as “illegal via an illegal executive action”) workers into context.
First of all we know the economy is horrible no matter how much they lie to us about the “new jobs” created and the unemployment rate in this country. That’s just absurd propaganda and most Americans already know it.
Obama’s executive action will do nothing but compound that problem exponentially by adding as many new “legal” workers with the stroke of his pen as all the new jobs that have been created since he came to office. These “legal” workers will be second class citizens, working for even less money than they can garner now, but without the fear of being deported just as long as they stay loyal and OBEY their corporate owners.
President Barack Obama’s unilateral amnesty will quickly add as many foreign workers to the nation’s legal labor force as the total number of new jobs created by his economy since 2009…
… Under the president’s new amnesty plan, “up to four million undocumented immigrants who have lived in the United States for at least five years can apply. … An additional one million people will get protection from deportation through other parts of the president’s plan,” according to a Nov. 19 report in The New York Times…
…Since 2009, the U.S. economy has added only six million jobs, according to the International Monetary Fund.
The total number of jobs rose from 139,894,000 in 2009, to 145,871,000 in 2014, according to the IMF. That’s an increase of 5,977,000 jobs in five years. Daily Caller
Just imagine how much money that will save Big Business in America. Imagine the stock returns.
You have to remember, this amnesty will NOT make these people citizens. It will NOT give them the kinds of protections workers in the states USED to enjoy. It will make them indentured servants to the monied class with one purpose in mind: profits.
Remember back when people like me were warning that Obamacare really wasn’t about helping the uninsured get medical care? Same thing here. Take a issue, make it into a CRISIS and then turn it on it’s head so that Big Business get’s paid. That’s neoliberalism folks.
The effects of this stagnant, neoliberal, Business First, economy on the general population are mind-boggling. The fact that NO ONE is really reporting on it or even talking about it in the context of President Tarnished Peace Prize’s rekindling of George W. Bush’s 2007 Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act is astonishing but not unexpected.
Here is a little sample of the real state of the union:
All along the watchtower, America’s alarms are sounding loudly. Voter turnout this last go-round was the worst in 72 years, as if we needed another sign that faith in democracy is waning. Is it really any wonder? When your choices range from the corrupt to the demented, how can you not feel that citizenship is a sham? Research by Martin Gilens and Benjamin I. Page clearly shows that our lawmakers create policy based on the desires of monied elites while “mass-based interest groups and average citizens have little or no independent influence.”…
… When our government does pay attention to us, the focus seems to be more on intimidation and control than addressing our needs. We are surveilled through our phones and laptops. As the New York Times has recently reported, a surge in undercover operations from a bewildering array of agencies has unleashed an army of unsupervised rogues poised to spy upon and victimize ordinary people rather than challenge the real predators who pillage at will. Aggressive and militarized police seem more likely to harm us than to protect us, even to mow us down if necessary…
… A 2012 study of hospital patients in Atlanta’s inner-city communities showed that rates of post-traumatic stress are now on par with those of veterans returning from war zones. At least 1 out of 3 surveyed said they had experienced stress responses like flashbacks, persistent fear, a sense of alienation, and aggressive behavior. All across the country, in Detroit, New Orleans, and in what historian Louis Ferleger describes as economic “ dead zones” — places where people have simply given up and sunk into “involuntary idleness” — the pain is written on slumped bodies and faces that have become masks of despair. Lynn Stuart Parramore, AlterNet Nov. 19 2014
By legalizing these millions of undocumented workers, Obama and his globalist allies will serve up one of the biggest prizes to Big Business they have seen in a long while because it will not only provide them with cheaper workers with less protections who are bound by law to keep their mouths shut and do as they are told, but it will also undercut wage structures and benefit packages for all those other working Americans who are here legally or born here and that will exacerbate the despair talked about by Lynn to a degree that is almost incomprehensible to anyone who didn’t live during the Great Depression.
But you see, that just simply sets the stage. It creates an atmosphere that the elites want.
They are currently in the process of preparing for just such a climate in every possible way and they have two years to get it done so they can usher in a new Bush leader, Jeb Bush, as the latest champion of “CHANGE”
As the economy weakens further still, several other things have to be taken into account as preparation for the final piece of the neoliberal globalist agenda lands on us like the “Brick” in Chile.
1. First, the internet has to be controlled in order to quell dissent and stymie the sharing of information. Thus the USA Freedom Act is poised and ready for passage.
That bit of legislation will hand over collection and control of your communications data to Big Business. It will allow them to use it, unfettered by oversight, as they see fit. To determine who is a threat, who is networked to whom, who possesses certain anti-globalist ideology and who should be marked for exclusion.
In neoliberalized nations this step is always of vital importance. The CIA has done it for decades all across the globe. And it’s being done now as William Binney (sp?) made clear years before the phony “Edward Snowden” came along.
Big Business will be able to make determinations that effect your lives in ways you can’t possibly understand. They already do that to an extent, but when this bill is passed, and it will be with a few more Big Business inspired modifications made to it, this kind of action will be cemented into law. They will be able to determine your fate based on your ideology and that’s a big big plus for them.
They will also be able to effective decide if you are a security risk to the “national interests” meaning.. them. And from there we are talking about a lot more than simply keeping you from getting a job or ruining your credit rating.
It will also be Big Business that determines your access to the internet, access to free speech on this medium.
That HAS to be done in order to maintain order over the next couple of years. The lies and propaganda are so easily debunked these days, the only means to combat such a large swath of malcontents is banishment. And that is a fact.
No one expects they could get away with the old CIA operations of assassination and disappearances like they did in the past especially with an open and free internet. If you don’t believe me, just check out the student protests in Mexico RIGHT NOW.
So CISPA, the new CISPA (USA Freedom Act) is vital and as it just so happens, is on the front burner of the globalist’s agenda.
2. The militarization of the police has been an ongoing process for a while now. Really, since 9/11 when all of this was first put into motion.
It’s not a controversial statement I just made and is pretty commonplace in terms of MSM reports.
But the REASON is now clear, isn’t it?
And when the militarization started so long ago, it was done for a reason and that implies intent. Someone KNEW these days were coming and they carefully put the mechanics of population suppression into place in order for it to be here now. It would seem like it would be an obvious conclusion, but few take the time to connect those dots since it was begun back in the Bush days and we all know the “CHANGE” president could not possibly be in collusion with them. That would be a conspiracy theory, now wouldn’t it?
The Endgame
An influx of cheap labor, those bound by law and threat of deportation to OBEY their corporate owners is set in motion.
The mechanism to control and or abolish vocal dissent on the internet is ready to be installed.
An armed and in some cases, sociopathic THUG STATE waits in the wings, ready to literally STAMP OUT physical dissent from the oppressed masses.
What is the endgame? The one piece of the puzzle no one is talking about in terms of these recent developments?
The last major effort to fully neoliberalize America comes in the form of NAFTA’s horrific offspring: the Trans Pacific Partnership. The endgame I shall call it.
Being negotiated in secret with the assistance of Big Business, the TPP promises to fully undermine democracy as we know it.
“From what I hear, Wall Street, pharmaceuticals, telecom, big polluters and outsourcers are all salivating at the chance to rig the deal in the upcoming trade talks. So the question is, Why are the trade talks secret?” Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) said in a speech earlier this year. “I actually have had supporters of the deal say to me, ‘They have to be secret, because if the American people knew what was actually in them, they would be opposed.’”
Twelve nations are involved in the TPP talks, including the three NAFTA nations of Canada, Mexico and the U.S. Also included is Japan, the world’s third-largest economy. Most TPP proponents — including the Chamber of Commerce, the foremost corporate lobbying organization in the U.S. — believe that Obama will need additional executive powers to enact the trade pact. Under a policy known as Trade Promotion Authority or “fast-track” authority, Congress would be unable to amend or filibuster any deal Obama reaches, with the process instead being restricted to an up-or-down vote. Huffington Post
This piece of pure fascist undemocratic legislation promises to turn this country into the worst parts of Mexico, Greece and Ukraine that you could imagine.
Aside from how it will allow Big Business to ignore local, state and federal law, it will give them the power to bankrupt these institutions of democracy in order to extract wealth from them like a fracking operation leaving abject decimation in it’s wake.
In order for it to work, for it to be successful, a number of things had to be put in place along with the destitution and hopelessness of the population.
What we will see in the near future if this continues is nothing short of a Kafkaesque landscape where America used to be.
Kafkaesque describes a nightmarish situation which most people can somehow relate to, although strongly surreal. With an ethereal, “evil”, omnipotent power floating just beyond the senses.
In these economic dead-zones, where Big Business is being allowed to privatize public assets for next to nothing, where work opportunities are rare at best, where “hope” no longer lives… this is where the TPP shall take hold and thrive.
Free-Trade Zones will be established. They are already being set up across the country. These are places that used to be exclusive to neoliberalized third-world countries run by our puppet dictators, where Big Business can come in and ignore local laws and worker protections. They are the heart and soul of global opposition to neoliberal globalization. Places where the minimum wage restrictions don’t apply and OSHA has no legal authority. Places where child labor laws are forbidden. Where things like worker’s benefits, Social Security workers compensation protections are distance memories and pipe dreams.
Where exploitation is the only rule of law and the only hope left the working man is a motto from days of old…
arbeit macht frei – work will make you free
These free-trade zones exist now in Haiti and the occupied West Bank among way too many others. Is that the kind of society we wish to see brought to the shores of the U.S.?
That’s what we can expect in the very near future, if they don’t turn the entire nation into one (or the entire world as was depicted in Elysium )
This is the developing state of the union, the Kafkaesque state where all the values and ideals we are taught as children that are supposed to be the foundation of our civilization, are abandoned and replaced by a kind of sociopathic self-absorption, a “Do it to HER not ME!” compliance that would make even Ayn Rand vomit with disgust. Is it any wonder the elites view us as sub-human if we do nothing to demand our humanity?
The American working class has seen what lies in Room 101, we’ve been brought here for just this reason. And many assume we are ready to love Big Brother just as so many millions have before us. I don’t think that’s the case.
Yes, Obama’s comprehensive immigration reform reboot is illegal and immoral in many ways. But what it proceeds is even worse. Something wicked this way comes.
All that is left is for us is to kneel and define our terms of surrender. That, or stand and fight. You have a choice. Timshel.
“In a world where borders look more like nets than walls, we are interdependent whether we like it or not, so the only thing that remains is to define the terms of our interdependence,” a globalist
