There's actually calls here by some group that the RCMP be dissolved/broken up, and replaced by a more directly citizen accountable police of some kind. Just as there's been demands from some places there i see to have the FBI dissolved (formerly the 'BI' a puny insignificant force that was mutated completely unconstitutionally into the mutant tentacled giant FBI in 1920's, with one nasty toxic scumbag named J. Edgar as its first director. Who held that position for 2 generations under every pres. consecutively, holding major dirt on every one. but then dieded under mysterious circumstances under the reign of Tricky Dicky!) Fancy that.
