Reason the frenchies are taking it to the streets doing the Macaroni is not just because they're known to be more expressive than other groups, but iirc they are pretty much the only, but certainly the only BIG Nato country to have no active nato bases, meaning ground troops.

they were out of nato totally from 1966 de gaulle until that other evil elf brought france back in a decade ago.

So, maybe france is the huge event for AUG 1 coming, altho i can't see even say something as big as their pulling out of nato as big enuf to cause the size of event due then.
Believe it or not, even some major event at Zaparhozia NPP ukraine is not big enuf! Just look at Fukushima 2011 japan how huge that was and near nothing happened anywhere else as a result.
Not that big nato meeting, that's mid-july 2 weeks earlier. not the brics meeting, that's 2 weeks later mid-august.
