The seclusion in Delaware ended pretty much as most thought it would, with an unhappy Crackhead Biden and Lady McBiden screaming and clawing at Joe to get up off the floor, wipe his nose and study those debate scripts.
But no. Sneaky Uncle SloJo has wandered off the track and left the race.
'President Biden, 81, abandoned his bid for re-election and threw the 2024 presidential contest into chaos on Sunday, caving to relentless pressure from his closest allies to drop out of the race amid deep concerns that he is too old and frail to defeat former President Donald J. Trump. After calling Vice President Kamala Harris an “extraordinary partner,” he endorsed her to take his place atop the ticket.
“It has been the greatest honor of my life to serve as your president,” he wrote on social media. “And while it has been my intention to seek re-election, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and focus entirely on fulfilling my duties as president for the remainder of my term.”
In a subsequent post, Mr. Biden endorsed her: “Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year. Democrats — it’s time to come together and beat Trump. Let’s do this.” NYT
Will they regret the wasted time since that awful debate performance? Who knows. Does it really matter now that Trump is the Risen Jesus after the shooting?
Will Kamala be DEIed into the slot because, after all, she did so much these last couple of years? I mean, she was put in charge of the southern border after all and that should count for ... something?
Or have they convinced Michele O'ManShoulders to run after all? Her beard-husband did seem to turn on Sleepy Joe pretty abruptly. I wonder why.
I guess it doesn't matter. With Silicon Valley all onboard with the Risen One it looks like we got 4 years of President Theil I mean Vance I mean Trump to look forward to.
Either way it's done now. Joe is officially retiring soon and his power-hungry wife will have to accept her fate of sitting around the house all day changing his soiled Depends wishing had pulled a Crooks herself when they had the chance.
