A peek past the propaganda and thru the smoke screens reveals the IMF willing to work with al Qaeda terrorists we installed in Syria... when they refused to work with Bashar al Assad, the elected leader of the Syrian people.

... Anteri, a colonel and the commander of the Syrian Free Army, a small, U.S.-trained opposition force before the fall of the Syrian regime, spoke with NPR at his base next to a remote U.S. military outpost in southern Syria...

Al-Tanf, originally a U.S. special forces base, has played a key role in training Syrian opposition fighters, including Anteri's. It lies about 200 miles from Syria's capital Damascus, on the main Damascus-Baghdad highway. Abandoned regime tanks lie by the side of the road. Nearby are cast-off Syrian army uniforms, tossed aside by fleeing soldiers as Assad fell.

The Syrian ruler was quickly toppled in a surprise offensive this month by opposition forces, who took back the country with little resistance after more than a decade of civil war. Anteri believes the reason the regime soldiers his forces encountered didn't fight back was because they knew the U.S. military was backing the SFA. Along with a patch bearing the Syrian insignia on his fighters' uniforms, he also instructed soldiers to wear a patch with an American flag.

The American base at al-Tanf is testament to the uneasy U.S. role in a key strategic region. The U.S. has not had diplomatic relations with Syria since 2012, after the start of the Syrian civil war. The bases it established over the past decade in the south and east operate under no Syrian legal authority. They fall under the U.S.-led anti-ISIS coalition operating in Iraq and Syria, but that coalition is soon being dismantled...

Syria leader urges unity, peace as anti-Assad loyalist ops kill many

Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa urged national unity and peace Sunday following reports that more than 1,000 people were killed in the deadliest clashes along the country’s coast since Bashar Assad’s ouster.

The violence erupted Thursday between the new security forces and loyalists of the former government along the Mediterranean coast in the heartland of the Alawite minority to which Assad belonged.

It has since escalated into the largest challenge to the new government's forces since al-Sharaa's HTS-led coalition toppled Assad in December.

"We must preserve national unity (and) civil peace as much as possible and, God willing, we will be able to live together in this country," al-Sharaa said from a mosque in Damascus.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights war monitor has reported that 745 Alawite civilians were allegedly killed in Latakia and Tartus provinces.

The fighting has also killed 125 members of the security forces and 148 pro-Assad fighters, according to the Observatory, taking the overall death toll to 1,018.

The official SANA news agency reported Saturday that security forces had deployed to Latakia, as well as Jableh and Baniyas further south, to restore order.

Defence ministry spokesman Hassan Abdul Ghani said the security forces had "reimposed control" over areas that had seen attacks by Assad loyalists...

Syria says 14 interior ministry personnel were killed in ambush by al-Assad supporters

Syria’s new Interior Minister Mohammed Abdel Rahman says 14 "interior ministry personnel" were killed by what he described as the "remnants of the Assad regime”.

Clashes took place in multiple cities, including the coastal city of Tartus, Homs, and even the capital Damascus. It represents the most violent and widespread unrest in the country since the removal of long-time autocratic President Bashar al-Assad earlier this month.

Rahman vowed to crack down on “anyone who dares to undermine” the country’s security, endanger the lives of its citizens or halt the processes of peace and stabilising its future.

On Wednesday, demonstrations took place in the city of Homs, according to state media, and were led by members of the minority Alawite and Shia Muslim communities.

The Alawite protests were apparently in part sparked by an online video showing the burning of an Alawite shrine. The interim authorities insisted the video was old and not a recent incident.

Some protesters called for the release of soldiers from the former Syrian army now imprisoned by the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS). UK-based war monitor Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said at least one protestor was killed and five were wounded in Homs as HTS forces looked to quell the unrest...

Nearly 300 arrested in HTS crackdown on Assad loyalists in Syria: Report

A UK-based war monitor says the new rulers in Syria have detained nearly 300 people in a large-scale crackdown on loyalists to President Bashar al-Assad following the fall of his government earlier this month.

Rami Abdel Rahman, head of the so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), made the remarks on Sunday after the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) administration launched a widespread arrest campaign against Assad’s loyalists earlier this week.

“In less than a week, nearly 300 people have been detained in Damascus and its suburbs, as well as in Homs, Hama, Tartus, Latakia and even Deir Ezzor,” Abdel Rahman said.

He went on to say that among those arrested were former informants, pro-government fighters, and former soldiers, as well as lower-ranking military officers.

Abdel Rahman further noted that “the campaign is ongoing, but no prominent figures have been arrested” except for military justice official General Mohammed Kanjo Hassan, who allegedly issued death sentences for prisoners held in Sednaya jail...

Syria resistance calls for stopping ‘terrorist administration’s crimes’, warns HTS of surprises

The newly-formed Syrian resistance front has issued its first statement against the new rulers in the Arab country, arguing that the Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) is exercising the “Wahhabi law of swords on necks.” 

The resistance front, in a statement released on Sunday, stated that the HTS administration has perpetrated various malicious acts, including thefts, violations of human rights, violent riots, corruption, chaos, sabotage and destruction of public properties ever since it took over the capital Damascus on December 8.

“We have also seen the Hollywood films they made in the Saydnaya prison to draw public opinion and popular support, manipulating the minds of those who believed in naivety and shared the lies,” the statement read.

The statement added they were assisted in their disinformation campaign by Israeli media outlets and certain channels from the Persian Gulf region, forgetting about the plight of Palestinian prisoners in the Israeli regime’s detention centers, and the ongoing war of extermination in Gaza.

NPR's Lazy Chemical Weapons Propaganda to Justify al Qaeda Killing Him

NPR has published a ridiculous piece of propaganda bringing up the old April 2018 supposed chemical weapon attack reportedly carried out by Assad forces on the 'rebel' (al Qaeda) controlled area of the city.

In it they cite a March 2024 UN report saying:

Then former Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's regime crumbled and so did his government's lies.

Among the most brazen? That his forces never dropped chemical weapons on Syrian civilians despite the UN finding he did so repeatedly...

... But in this area on the outskirts of Damascus everyone knows what happened on April 7, 2018. It takes just a few questions to any passerby to find survivors of the toxic chlorine attack that residents here said allowed regime forces to retake the city of Douma in the district of Ghouta from rebel forces.  NPR

The UN report they link to doesn't say that. It doesn't conclude that. In fact, it is only Western backers of the regime change operation who are quoted in the report who try to make that claim.

In fact, they seem to find that ISIS, out proxy army, are the ones who used chemical weapons.

He also detailed the results of the 22 February 2024 report by the OPCW Investigation and Identification Team, which determined that there are “reasonable grounds” to believe that Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL/Da’esh) deployed sulphur mustard gas during attacks aimed at capturing the town of Marea in September 2015 UN March 2024

What a despicable level of propaganda. They can't even find a report which backs up their lies about Assad so they just run with a link to a long one they hope their lazy, racist readers wont bother checking.

OPCW Modified Chemical Weapons Report on Syria's Douma, Crucial Details Omitted - Wikileaks (2019)

The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) concluded in March that chlorine was most likely used in the suspected April 2018 attack on the city of Douma, which lies on the northeastern outskirts of the Syrian capital.

Three countries - the United States, the United Kingdom and France - carried out airstrikes against Syrian government targets, justifying their assault by claiming that the chemical weapons were allegedly used by the Syrian Army.

Wikileaks revealed that the OPCW's redacted version of the so-called fact-finding report on Douma's events had been intentionally doctored, misrepresenting the facts that the investigation team found on the ground in Syria after Western powers have attacked Syria.

The OPCW and Douma: Chemical Weapons Watchdog Accused of Evidence-Tampering by Its Own Inspectors (2019)

Claims that President Bashar al-Assad’s forces have used chemical weapons are almost as old as the Syrian civil war itself. They have produced strong reactions, and none more so than in the case of the alleged attack in April last year on the opposition-controlled area of Douma near Damascus in which 43 people are said to have been killed by chlorine gas. The United States, Britain and France responded by launching airstrikes on targets in the Syrian capital.

Were the strikes justified? An inspector from the eight-member team sent to Douma has just come forward with disturbing allegations about the international watchdog, the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, which was tasked with obtaining and examining evidence.

Involved in collecting samples as well as drafting the OPCW’s interim report, he claims his evidence was suppressed and a new report was written by senior managers with assertions that contradicted his findings.

James Le Mesuier, founder of the hearts and minds campaign known as the White Helmets, jumped into the discussion on Twitter about the regime change operation in Syria and President Trump deciding to go back on his pledge to defund that operation early last month. James probably worried about his meal-ticket going bankrupt if social media were allowed to go on it’s own merry way exposing the fraud of his creation. So he decided to open his mouth and get involved and it’s my guess he kinda wishes he didn’t at this point.

The following is what I found after digging into this new Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons Fact Finding Mission study (OPCW FFM)

We will start off with quotes from the OPCW report dated June 13, 2018

“After the FFM became aware of allegations of use of a toxic chemical as a weapon in Ltamenah, in the Hama Governorate, the team assessed the credibility of the allegations based on information collected from open sources and information received from several non-governmental organisations (NGOs).”
“During the FFM deployment to gather facts related to the use of chemicals as a weapon in Khan Shaykhun on 4 April 2017, the team also received samples...”
“For both incidents (24 and 25 March), the FFM interviewed a variety of witnesses including health workers, witnesses, first responders, and casualties. The team received environmental samples collected from the sites of the incidents.”
“Once the impact locations of the incident on 24 March 2017 were determined during the interviews, the FFM coordinated the sample collection from these locations with an NGO.”
“After an incident was reported in the media concerning alleged use of chlorine that hit a field hospital in Ltamenah on 25 March 2017, the team conducted further open-source research and commenced the collection and review of all relevant information about the allegation. The majority of sources consisted, at an initial stage, of news media and the websites of various NGOs (Annex 2).”
“Subsequently, the FFM obtained further information from NGOs and expanded its search for potential interviewees and evidence regarding this allegation.”

The OPCW FFM (Fact Finding Mission) refused to visit the sites to collect their samples instead relying on samples provided by an NGO, the White Helmets, which receive funding from Saudi Arabia, England and the United States… all external players in this conflict who have been fueling the regime change operation since it’s inception.

They had been offered access to these sites and refused to inspect them themselves.

Why I Think Bashar al Assad Never Left Syria Alive

 

Recent NYT article inadvertently makes it clear that Bashar al Assad was removed one way or the other from power in Syria by his trusted generals. It wasn't Turkey that did it, it wasn't Erdogan. It was out influence on Syrian generals and perhaps the Prime Minister that ousted Assad before he could announce his plan to share power with the legitimate opposition in Syria. We did that, I believe, because its the only way to hand over Syria to the Greater Israel project.

Bashar al Assad was setting up an historic press statement to tell the people of Syria he was going to share power with the political opposition in Syria so, as the cameras were being set up... the official story is... he ran away leaving staffers and family members without saying a word. Hmmm. And look at the cast of characters this bullshit story comes from: his sellout Prime Minister, al Qaeda, the MEK and Kurds from Iraq... and of course... our man in Turkey, Hakan Fidan. And the NYT publishes this bullshit without one single critical thought as to the sheer stupidity of it all.

Syria’s state-run television station was ready to broadcast the finished product: an address by Mr. al-Assad announcing a plan to share power with members of the political opposition, according to three people who were involved in the preparation.

Working from the palace, Mr. al-Assad, who had wielded fear and force to maintain his authoritarian rule over Syria for more than two decades, had betrayed no sense of alarm to his staff, according to a palace insider whose office was near the president’s.

The capital’s defenses had been bolstered, Mr. al-Assad’s aides were told, including by the powerful 4th Armored Division of the Syrian Army, led by the president’s brother Maher al-Assad, the insider said.

They had all been deceived.

After dusk, the president slipped out of the capital, flying covertly to a Russian military base in northern Syria and then on a Russian jet to Moscow, according to six Middle Eastern government and security officials...

The account of Mr. al-Assad’s fall, much of which has not been previously reported, is based on interviews with Syrian (pro-US opposition and his Prime Minister?), Iranian (MEK?), Iraqi (Iraqi Kurdistan?) and Turkish officials (US asset Hakan Fidan); Damascus-based diplomats; as well as associates of Mr. al-Assad and rebels who participated in his ouster (al Qaeda terrorists). Many of them spoke on the condition of anonymity

Assad was doing what he had been told to do by the advisors from places like Turkey and Egypt. He was making a deal to share power with the legitimate opposition in Turkey. But that wasn't enough. As Jeffrey Sachs  recently put it, Israel had other plans for that land. They wanted it for Greater Israel and a power sharing deal would not permit that so... we whacked him and concocted this bullshit story about him setting all this up then just taking a powder.

As I have said before, if he would alive he would have done an interview by now and they damn sure wouldn't have come out with that stupid Telegram message from him because they would have known he would come out and discredit it.

The United States prepared a rebel force to join the offensive that overthrew the regime of Bashar al-Assad, fighters have claimed.

British and American-trained fighters in the Revolutionary Commando Army (RCA), a group aligned against Islamic State, were told “this is your moment” in a briefing by US Special Forces before Assad was ousted.

In the first indication that Washington had prior knowledge of the offensive, the RCA revealed it had been told to scale-up its forces and “be ready” for an attack that could lead to the end of the Assad regime.

“They did not tell us how it would happen,” Capt Bashar al-Mashadani, an RCA commander, told The Telegraph from a former Syrian army air base used by Russia on the outskirts of the city of Palmyra.

“We were just told: ‘Everything is about to change. This is your moment. Either Assad will fall, or you will fall.’ But they did not say when or where, they just told us to be ready.”

The terrorists we used to regime change Syria have released a statement on Telegram purportedly from Bashar al Assad. They wrote it themselves due to the fact that people were starting to wonder aloud about why Assad had made no statement since supposedly leaving Syria. In all probability, they did this in order to put questions about his murder by these terrorists or by traitors in Syria to rest. All it does is prove he was murdered as they wouldn't put out a statement like this if he were alive because they would worry he will come out and denounce it as a fraud.

The US government and its Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) utilize the social media platform Telegram to instigate riots and protest movements against international governments it deems undesirable, former US State Department official Mike Benz said in an interview with Tucker Carlson on Wednesday.

Benz, who served under the Trump administration and is currently a free speech activist at the Foundation for Freedom Online, was asked by the American journalist about potential US involvement in the recent arrest of Telegram co-founder and CEO Pavel Durov in France earlier this week...

"26 US-government-funded NGOs" denounced Russia's attempt to ban the instant messaging application in 2018 since it was being used by the US State Department for its encryption and local popularity "to foment protests and riots within Russia – just as they did in Belarus, Iran, Hong Kong, and attempted to do in China," Benz told Carlson.

The former US official added that Telegram's encryption serves as a powerful feature of evading state control over media while enabling "US-funded political groups or dissidents to garner tens of thousands of supporters with relative impunity."

Benz stated that Telegram was the US' "main channel" for "effectively orchestrating a color revolution in Belarus" in 2020. He noted that "The National Endowment for Democracy (NED) was actually paying the main administrators of the Telegram channels that orchestrated those riots," adding that the NED was "one of the most prolific CIA cutouts in the arsenal."..
