Belgium's BS Offer to Recognize Palestine Statehood

by Scott Creighton

It's a stunt to appease the large percentage of their population who want their government to take a stand against the genocide being committed by Israel against the people of Palestine. Its a stunt that comes with extremely unrealistic and frankly arrogant, Israel-supporting conditions:

'Maxime Prevot said Belgium's plans to recognize a Palestinian state will be announced at the United Nations General Assembly on Sept. 9.

However, the acknowledgment is predicated on two conditions – the return of all Israeli hostages held in Gaza and the removal of Hamas from political power in the coastal exclave. The conditions make it unlikely the recognition will be formalized anytime soon.' Daily Sabah

These conditions obviously favor Israel after all, the forced regime change in Gaza is what Israel has wanted from the start.

In Belgium the only legitimate government they will recognize in Palestine is one subservient to their Israeli masters. This is the message they are sending the rest of the world.

Those same Israeli masters are the ones currently carrying out a genocide live streamed in real time.

And BTW, those same Israeli masters had something too say about Belgium's announcement:

'Belgium's announcement sparked fury from Israel's far-right national security minister, Itamar Ben Gvir, who, along with Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, is a likely target of the new sanctions.

"The self-righteous European countries that are being manipulated by Hamas – at the end they'll discover terrorism on their own flesh," Ben Gvir said in a statement to The Associated Press.' Daily Sabah

Yes. The Zionist barbarians the Belgiums' want Gaza to submit to... just threatened them with false flag terrorism for even suggesting a 2 state solution.

This shows us the depravity and desperation of the Israeli Zionist regime in Tel Aviv. It also shows us their ultimate objectives. They don't want an end to this conflict, they want the land and will settle for nothing less.

Hamas has made it clear that if and when the world recognizes Palestinian statehood (as if it isn't already a state) then they will gladly step down as Palestine will no longer need an occupation resistant government... if they are no longer occupied.

And Hamas has made efforts to reach a cease-fire deal, the one originally written by the Israelis which will include the return of most of the remaining hostages.

But Israel rejected their own cease-fire agreement after Hamas seemingly agreed to it.

And yet it's Hamas that is the illegitimate government in all this according to Belgium?
