Trump regional strategy 'made over Netanyahu’s head': NYT

(In the lead-up to this 3-state trip, Trump made concessions with China's Xi Jingping and let it be leaked they had every intention to recognize Palestine as a state. They let Israel out of the loop on several fronts and even backed off Yemen as they continue to torment Israel for their illegal occupation and ethnic cleansing of Gaza. However, TrumpyBear once again, lived up to his reputation as someone who never lives up to his promises. Hamas has discovered that after releasing the US/Israeli soldier POW they had been holding. While Trump and his family play golf and go over all the shekels they made from the trip... Israel is ramping up the ethnic cleansing of North Gaza while still using starvation as a weapon of war against the civilian population of Palestine. Trump once again turned out to be a morally bankrupt liar whose only perceivable creed is greed.)

from al Mayadeen English

US President Donald Trump’s recent Gulf tour marked a notable shift in US foreign policy in the region, emphasizing new alliances and strategies that largely left "Israel" on the sidelines, The New York Times reported.

At the Saudi royal palace, Trump met with Syria’s new leader, Ahmad al-Sharaa, and announced the lifting of longstanding US sanctions on Damascus.

“Tough guy, very strong past,” Trump said of al-Sharaa, who has a history of ties with Al Qaeda. The US president justified the move by stating he wanted "to give them a chance at greatness."

But "Israel’s" leadership has strongly opposed any recognition of the new Syrian administration. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government has labeled al-Sharaa a “jihadist” and has warned against US normalization with Damascus...

Deep Waters: MAGA Turns on Trump as He Appears to Promote the Multipolar World Order

Don't get it twisted. MAGA folks and Trump backers aren't all of a sudden concerned about Trump's grifting. The stupid plane. They are turning on him because he is turning on Netanyahu and the neocon unipolar world order.

Long List of Corruption in Trump's Short Tenure in Office and the True Weakness of his Weakness

by Scott Creighton

TrumpyBear is corrupt. Of that there is no doubt. But if it helps stop bombing raids in Gaza and gets food to starving Palestinian children, I couldn't care less. Give two planes and a Ferris wheel for all I care.

The sad thing is, most people are too shell-shocked at this point to even pay attention while his MAGAites either don't care or actually cheer him on for his outlandish levels of in your face corruption.

'Mr. Trump’s inaugural committee raked in $239 million from wealthy business interests hoping to curry his favor or at least avoid his wrath, more than doubling the previous record, $107 million, set by his inaugural committee in 2017. There is no way to spend a quarter of a billion dollars on dinners and events, and the committee has not said what will happen to leftover funds.

Before returning to office, Mr. Trump also started a meme cryptocurrency, $TRUMP, which allows crypto investors around the world to enrich him. His family has already made millions on transaction fees, and its own reserve of the digital coin is worth billions on paper.

This month, Mr. Trump went further by auctioning off face-to-face access to himself through sales of the coin, announcing that top buyers would get a private dinner at one of his golf courses and that the largest holders would get a tour of the White House. The contest injected new interest in the coin, even though it has no intrinsic value.

The removal of such constraints extends to law enforcement.

In April, the Trump administration disbanded a Justice Department unit dedicated to investigating cryptocurrency crimes.

Earlier, Mr. Trump had also ordered the department to suspend enforcement of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, which makes it a crime for companies that operate in the United States to bribe foreign officials.

And Attorney General Pam Bondi, herself a former highly paid lobbyist for Qatar, narrowed enforcement of a law requiring lobbyists for foreign governments to register such relationships and disclose what they are paid...' NYT

Yes, Trump is all about 'the deals'

'Deals' are what used car salesmen make, presidents do diplomacy.

But not TrumpyBear... he makes 'deals' and many times those 'deals' involve either him or some friend or member of his family taking home a hefty profit.

This is a weakness in a man which can be sniffed out a mile away and it is dangerous in a man if he happens to be the POTUS.

Yes, it may turn out after enough 'deals' TrumpyBear is convinced by Mohamed bin Salman (MbS) and the royal families of Qatar and UAE to turn away from Genocidal Bibi and embrace the role of peace-maker in the Middle East for his legacy... and profit margins of course.

And if that is the case, well, worse outcomes were obviously possible. For U.S. recognition of Palestinian statehood, I think most solidarity supporters would turn a blind eye to TrumpyBear flying off into the sunset in his new gaudy ego palace in the sky.

Money well spent in my opinion.

Israeli forces bomb Gaza’s Nasser Hospital, killing two patients

from al Jazeera

  • Israeli forces have bombed the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, killing two people, including journalist Hassan Eslaih, and wounding several other patients and staff.
  • UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres calls for an end to Israel’s blockade of Gaza, after a leading global hunger monitor said the entire population of the enclave faces the risk of famine.
  • Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he’ll send mediators to Qatar for truce talks after Hamas released a US-Israeli soldier; his office said Israel would hold off on plans to expand the war on Gaza until after US President Donald Trump’s Middle East visit.

At a Dubai Conference, Trump’s Conflicts Take Center Stage

(Jesus Christ the corruption and nepotism in the Trump tin-pot regime is ENDLESS. Zach Witkoff is Steve Witkoff's SON. I just did a video this morning talking about how Trump and our oligarchs want to turn America and Gaza into the UAE full of corruption and royal families and... slaves. And this was posted a little while ago. Holy shit.)

    from the New York Times

Sitting in front of a packed auditorium in Dubai, a founder of the Trump family cryptocurrency business made a brief but monumental announcement on Thursday. A fund backed by Abu Dhabi, he said, would be making a $2 billion business deal using the Trump firm’s digital coins.

That transaction would be a major contribution by a foreign government to President Trump’s private venture — one that stands to generate hundreds of millions of dollars for the Trump family. And it is a public and vivid illustration of the ethical conflicts swirling around Mr. Trump’s crypto firm, which has blurred the boundary between business and government.

Zach Witkoff, a founder of the Trump family crypto firm, World Liberty Financial, revealed that a so-called stablecoin developed by the firm would be used to complete the transaction between the state-backed Emirati investment firm MGX and Binance, the largest crypto exchange in the world.

Virtually every detail of Mr. Witkoff’s announcement, made during a conference panel with Mr. Trump’s second-eldest son, contained a conflict of interest....

Gaza 2035: A Beacon of Peace and Prosperity in the Flourishing Middle East

from Times of Israel Feb 2025

Imagine it is the year 2035, and the Gaza Strip, in the mold of Neom, stands as one of the greatest success stories of the 21st century. Once a land scarred by conflict and hardship, Gaza has now become a model of resilience, innovation, and coexistence—a thriving hub of commerce, culture, and sustainable development.

    A Thriving Economic Powerhouse

By 2035, Gaza’s economy has become one of the fastest-growing in the region, powered by technology, trade, and tourism. A state-of-the-art seaport and international airport have positioned Gaza as a global logistics hub, connecting the Middle East to Africa, Europe, and beyond.

The city’s tech sector has flourished, with Gaza Silicon Valley hosting startups focused on artificial intelligence, renewable energy, and biotechnology. Young Palestinian entrepreneurs, once hindered by lack of opportunity, now lead globally recognized companies, attracting investment from around the world,,,

Modern-Day Slavery in the United Arab Emirates

(This is what Gaza 2035 is all about. What Trump sees as the future for Gaza and the U.S. The kafala system in place in UAE. Our oligarhs are making ready for the system after US hegemony and IMF imposed free markets across the globe. They will get their profits even if they have to return us to a slave state. They can't stop BRICS drive to a multipolar world so they intend to reclaim profit margins by turning us into something just plain awful.)

    from Human Rights Research

The United Arab Emirates (UAE), renowned for its opulent skyscrapers and extravagant lifestyle, hides a dark reality beneath its glossy facade, where there exists a foundation of human tragedy that paints a stark contrast to its outward image. In the pursuit of a better life, millions of South Asian migrants, predominantly from India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, have been enticed by the tantalizing promise of high wages and stability that the UAE seemingly offers.

Despite diligent endeavors to address and mitigate these urgent concerns, the UAE's deeply ingrained kafala system and other exploitative labor practices consistently loom over the lives of these migrants. However, this cycle of abuse, marked by systemic injustice and exploitation, has not gone unnoticed. Its reverberations reach far beyond the UAE's borders, resonating globally as a reminder of the fragile state of human rights in the pursuit of economic gain. This truth also stands as a poignant and resolute indication that the quest for progress and prosperity should never compromise human dignity and well-being. It is a call to action for nations and societies around the world to uphold the inherent rights of every individual, regardless of their background or origin. As the world bears witness to the grim consequences of unchecked exploitation, it becomes evident that true progress can only be achieved when it is built upon a foundation of fairness, justice, and unwavering respect for the rights and dignity of all...

As Israel’s Ties to Arab Countries Fray, a Strained Lifeline Remains

     from the New York Times

The United Arab Emirates has maintained its links to Israel throughout the war in Gaza, but the relationship, built on a U.S.-brokered deal, is under pressure as anger against Israel grows.

Only a few years ago, plenty of citizens of the United Arab Emirates were willing to speak warmly about their country’s budding ties with Israel.

Israel had just established relations with the Emirates through a U.S.-brokered deal. Business groups sprung up to funnel cross-country investment. Two women, Emirati and Israeli, posed for a photograph holding hands atop a skyscraper in Dubai. American, Emirati and Israeli officials predicted that their deal, called the Abraham Accords, would spread peace across the Middle East.

But now, as Israel’s monthslong bombardment of Gaza fuels anger around the region, Emirati fans of the deal are increasingly hard to find.

An Emirati businessman who had once touted the economic ties said that he had left an Emirati-Israeli business council, and that he had nothing else to say. Some Emiratis, although frustrated with the accords, said they were afraid to speak publicly, citing their authoritarian government’s history of arresting critics. One figure who did speak out, Dubai’s deputy police chief, declared online that Arabs had “truly wanted peace” and that Israel had “proved that its intentions are evil.”...
