Hamas to Trump: We Are Ready to Release All Israeli Captives in Comprehensive Ceasefire Deal

(Israel responded by bombing a high-rise in Gaza City, killing 40 more civilians, 7 of whom are children)

(But yeah leftie influencers... keep saying it's Hamas who are the terrorists)

from Drop Site News

Hamas’s political leadership is reaffirming its willingness to make a deal that would see all Israeli captives released immediately in return for a ceasefire agreement that would bring an end to Israel’s genocidal war against the Palestinians of Gaza and a withdrawal of Israeli troops. “The movement reiterates its readiness to enter into a comprehensive deal under which all enemy prisoners held by the resistance will be released in exchange for an agreed-upon number of Palestinian prisoners held by the occupation,” Hamas said in a statement on Wednesday night. The statement added that Hamas has made clear its willingness to relinquish governance of Gaza to pave the way for “an independent national administration of technocrats to manage all Gaza Strip affairs and assume its responsibilities immediately in all areas.”

Hamas’s statement came hours after President Donald Trump posted a message on TruthSocial. “Tell Hamas to IMMEDIATELY give back all 20 Hostages (Not 2 or 5 or 7!), and things will change rapidly. IT WILL END!” Trump wrote.

Israel and the U.S. have both publicly dismissed the fact that, on August 18, Hamas agreed to a 60-day ceasefire deal presented by regional mediator Egypt that featured sweeping concessions from Hamas. The document, obtained by Drop Site, was endorsed by Hamas and a range of other Palestinian political parties and factions. The deal is a slightly modified version of the 13-point framework put forward by Trump’s Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and drafted in coordination with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s top aide, Ron Dermer. That deal would have seen the release of ten living Israeli captives—half the number believed to remain in Gaza—in a 50-day period...

Israel rejects truce deal, threatens to level Gaza City

(This image would be all over the MSM press today and congress would be holding votes to fix the problem RIGHT NOW... were the mother Jewish and the child killed in Glorious Israel. But as it stands, our media and politicians ignore the worst kinds of human suffering... if it's Palestinian mothers crying.)

(That... is... mental... illness... and... depravity.)

(We are a sick nation run by sick people.)

from PressTV

Israel has rejected a new proposal to end its genocidal war on the Gaza Strip under a ceasefire deal with the Hamas resistance group, threatening to flatten Gaza City like other areas in the besieged Palestinian territory.

The Tel Aviv regime dismissed the proposal on Wednesday, hours after Hamas stressed its readiness to enter into a comprehensive deal, under which all Israeli captives would be freed, in exchange for an agreed-upon number of Palestinian abductees.

The resistance group also called for an agreement that stops the Israeli genocide in Gaza, ensures the withdrawal of all occupation forces from the territory, and reopens its crossings.

The Israeli prime minister's office rejected the Hamas statement, saying, "This is more spin by Hamas that has nothing new."

It further said that the Gaza offensive can end immediately “on the conditions set by the [Israeli] cabinet," which include the release of all captives, the disarmament of Hamas, and Tel Aviv’s security control over Gaza.

Similarly, Israeli minister of military affairs Israel Katz warned Hamas to either accept Israel’s conditions or see Gaza City “become like Rafah and Beit Hanoun,” which have been reduced to rubble...

Israel launches 2nd stage of Gaza occupation plan

from Daily Sabah

Israel’s top general, Eyal Zamir, said Wednesday the army has entered the second phase of its operation to occupy Gaza, which is expected to displace the blockaded Palestinian enclave's population, amid growing international outrage.

"We have entered the second phase of Operation ‘Gideon’s Chariots’ to fulfill the objectives of the war. Returning our hostages is both a moral and national mission,” Zamir told army troops in the field.

The move came days after the Israeli army declared Gaza City a "dangerous combat zone” on Friday.

On Aug. 8, Israel’s Security Cabinet approved a plan by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to gradually reoccupy the Gaza Strip, beginning with Gaza City.

A senior Israeli military official said on Wednesday that authorities estimated that an imminent offensive in the Gaza Strip would displace one million Palestinians, planning a new "humanitarian area" for them.

The vast majority of Gaza's more than two million people have been displaced at least once during nearly two years of war.

The Israeli military has been gearing up to seize Gaza City, the Palestinian territory's largest urban centre, with the United Nations estimating that nearly a million people live in and around the northern city...

Iran, Egypt censure Israel’s plan to take over Gaza, relocate residents

from PressTV

Iran and Egypt have strongly condemned Israel’s “illegal and criminal” plans for the military occupation of Gaza City and the forced displacement of its residents.

In a phone conversation on Wednesday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his Egyptian counterpart, Badr Abdelatty, expressed deep concern over the continuation of genocide in Gaza by the Israeli regime.

The two ministers stressed the importance of putting an immediate end to genocide against the Palestinian people and the need to dispatch humanitarian aid to the besieged Strip.

Araghchi said an emergency meeting of foreign ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will be held in the Saudi city of Jeddah late in August at the request of the Islamic Republic and some other members to discuss the latest developments in Palestine, particularly in the Gaza Strip.

He added that the Jeddah meeting will be an opportunity to coordinate positions and take practical steps to assist the oppressed Palestinian people and counter the Israeli regime’s warmongering policies, especially its so-called “Great Israel” plan to occupy territories of Muslim and Arab countries.

The top Egyptian diplomat also outlined the latest efforts of his country and Qatar to establish a ceasefire in Gaza.

The Israeli regime on Wednesday began deploying its forces on the outskirts of Gaza City in preparation for implementing its scheme to occupy the Gaza Strip’s largest urban area...

‘They want us homeless and hungry’: residents of Gaza City brace for Israeli invasion

from Mondoweiss

The first time that the residents of Gaza City got an evacuation order was in October 2023. The Israeli army had ordered the 1.1 million people living in northern Gaza to move south ahead of the Israeli ground invasion.

Following the return of hundreds of thousands of residents of the north to Gaza City after the temporary ceasefire earlier this year, the Israeli army is now issuing another evacuation order. On August 8, the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office stated the Israeli army was preparing to take control of the entire city. In other words, permanent occupation.

On August 13, the army confirmed that the plans were approved. The invasion is reportedly set to start on October 7, the day that would mark two years of genocide.

The memories of the fate awaiting residents who refuse to evacuate remain stark in people’s minds — mass killings and field executions, kidnappings and arrests, and indiscriminate wholesale destruction. Some families have started to look for new places outside of Gaza City in the central and southern parts of the Strip. Others are determined to stay, believing that Israel has the same plan for all of Gaza — and they are done following the army’s orders...

Israeli strikes kill 123 Gazans in 24 hours as cease-fire talks stall

from Daily Sabah

Israeli forces unleashed heavy strikes on Gaza City on Wednesday ahead of a planned takeover, killing 123 people in the past 24 hours, according to the Gaza Health Ministry, as Hamas held new talks with Egyptian mediators.

It was the enclave’s deadliest day in a week, adding to the staggering toll from a nearly two-year war that has devastated the territory’s 2.3 million residents.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu again promoted a proposal – also championed by U.S. President Donald Trump – that Palestinians should be allowed to leave Gaza. “They’re not being pushed out; they’ll be allowed to exit,” Netanyahu told Israel’s i24NEWS. “Those who claim to care about the Palestinians should open their gates and stop lecturing us.”

The idea has drawn condemnation from Arab states and many global leaders, who say it amounts to mass displacement.

Palestinians warn it would mirror the 1948 Nakba – the “catastrophe” in which hundreds of thousands were forced from their homes during the Arab-Israeli war...

'Blatant and Premeditated Attack on Press Freedom': Israel Assassinates Five Gaza Journalists

from Common Dreams

The Israeli military on Sunday killed five Al Jazeera journalists with an airstrike on a press tent in Gaza City, a massacre that the media network decried as "yet another blatant and premeditated attack on press freedom."

Reporters Anas al-Sharif and Mohammed Qreiqeh and camera operators Ibrahim Zaher, Mohammed Noufal, and Moamen Aliwa were killed in the Israeli strike. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a statement that it was intentionally targeting al-Sharif, claiming he was "the head of a Hamas terrorist cell."

Press freedom organizations, United Nations experts, and human rights groups have denounced such assertions as part of a smear campaign aimed at justifying al-Sharif's assassination. Last month, the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) said it was "gravely worried" about al-Sharif's safety, noting that the IDF ramped up its false attacks after "the journalist cried on air while reporting on starvation in Gaza."...

Israel kills Al Jazeera journalists in Gaza

from RT

At least five Al Jazeera staff members have been killed in an Israeli airstrike on a journalist camp in Gaza. Among the victims was Anas al-Sharif, a well-known correspondent who has been recognized for his reporting on the local humanitarian crisis.

The attack occurred on Sunday evening, when the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) struck a tent outside the main gate of Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza. The Qatar-based media outlet immediately confirmed that four of its journalists - al-Sharif, Mohammed Qreiqeh, Ibrahim Zaher, and Mohammed Noufal - had been found dead. It later added that cameraman Moamen Aliwa was also among the victims, along with two others, bringing the death toll to seven.

Al-Sharif’s last post on X featured a video of Israeli strikes hitting Gaza City. Posted moments before he was killed, the missive described the “relentless bombardment” by Israeli warplanes...

Israel’s military acknowledged it had targeted al-Sharif, claiming he was the head of a Hamas “terrorist cell” operating under the guise of a reporter...

'We will not leave Gaza City': Palestinians vow to resist, stay put

from al Mayadeen English

After 22 months of war, approximately 1 million Palestinians, already displaced, living in tents or ruins, and suffering from hunger and lack of medical care, face another crisis as "Israel’s" security cabinet plans to seize control of Gaza City, forcing them to flee southward toward an uncertain future.

Umm Ibrahim Banat, a 55-year-old mother displaced four times from northern Gaza, expressed her fear and anxiety to The Guardian after hearing about the evacuation order for Gaza City, "Where will we go with the children and the elderly? I swear we are exhausted from displacement, starvation, and being driven from one place to another."

“Now,” she said, “we are the walking dead.”...

Israel to occupy Gaza City

 from RT

Israel’s security cabinet has approved Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s plan to seize Gaza City, his office announced on X on Friday. The move could pave the way for a full takeover of the enclave, despite warnings that it could endanger hostages held by Hamas.

Netanyahu’s office said the ministers endorsed five conditions to end the war: Hamas’ disarmament, the return of all hostages, Gaza’s demilitarization, Israeli security control, and a post-war civilian administration excluding both Hamas and the Palestinian Authority.

Just hours earlier, Netanyahu told Fox News that his ultimate goal is full control of Gaza. While the statement on Friday did not mention this explicitly, a senior Israeli official told The Times of Israel that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) is expected to advance into the remaining parts of Gaza after taking the city. Palestinians will reportedly have until October 7, 2025 to evacuate Gaza City before the IDF launches a ground assault...

Israeli attacks in Gaza kill more than 70, including several near aid site

(While American audiences are distracted by TrumpyBear vs the MuskyJunkie WWE-style roadshow, Glorious Israel takes advantage by slaughtering another round of innocent civilians and bombing another healthcare facility in hopes they can finally convince the people of Palestine there is no hope and they might as well give up and move to Florida. This is what we have come to expect.)

from al Jazeera

Israeli attacks have killed at least 75 Palestinians across Gaza, medical sources have told Al Jazeera, including at least 16 in a strike on Gaza City’s Sabra neighbourhood, which the Civil Defence described as a “full-fledged massacre”.

Dozens were also wounded in that Israeli attack on Saturday.

Al Jazeera’s Hind Khoudary, reporting from Deir el-Balah, said of the attack in Gaza City: “Sources are saying there are dozens of Palestinians still trapped under the rubble. The Civil Defence teams are trying to retrieve bodies and rescue as many Palestinians as possible.”

The Israeli military’s Arabic-language spokesman Avichay Adraee announced the latest forced evacuation orders to neighbourhoods in northern Gaza, including northwest of Gaza City and Jabalia.

Forces will “attack each zone used to launch rockets,” calling on residents to “immediately” move to the southern areas of the enclave, Adraee wrote on X Saturday...

Hamas says it accepts US ceasefire proposal, awaits Israel’s response

Here is Israel's response... they burned children alive.

And they did that because... they want...

 ... the land.

from PressTV

Hamas says it has accepted a proposal forwarded by the US’s regional envoy, which reportedly includes withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip.

“We have accepted Steve Witkoff (the American envoy)’s proposal to reach a ceasefire and the withdrawal of hostile forces,” a member of the Gaza-based resistance movement’s Political Bureau, Basem Naim, said on Tuesday.

“We are awaiting the occupation’s response,” the Palestinian official added.

Naim, however, did not comment on the details of the proposal.

Earlier this month, Naim had noted that Witkoff had personally assured the group that the United States would pressure the Israeli regime to end its near-total siege on the Gaza Strip and permit humanitarian access.

The envoy, according to Naim, had said the US would start applying the pressure within two days of Hamas’s releasing American-Israeli trooper Edan Alexander, whom the group handed over on May 12.

According to the Hamas member, Witkoff had also promised that US President Donald Trump would make a public call for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and for negotiations aimed at achieving a “permanent ceasefire.”

Witkoff, though, “did nothing of this,” Naim said at the time...

Video Shows Girl Trying to Escape Inferno as Gaza Family 'Burned Alive' in Israeli Massacre

from Common Dreams

"What we are doing in Gaza is a war of extermination: indiscriminate, unrestrained, brutal, and criminal killing of civilians," former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.

Video footage of a young girl trying to flee an inferno caused by a Monday Israeli airstrike that killed dozens of Palestinians including her mother and siblings sparked global outrage and calls for an immediate cease-fire in what one former Israeli prime minister called a "war of extermination."

Medical officials in Gaza said that at least 36 people were killed by an Israel Defense Forces (IDF) bombing of the Fahmi al-Jarjawi School in the al-Daraj neighborhood of Gaza City. The Gaza Government Media Office (GMO) said that 18 children were killed in the "brutal massacre."

"The school was supposed to be a place of safety. Instead, it was turned into an inferno," Gaza Civil Defense spokesperson Mahmoud Basal told reporters. "We heard desperate cries for help from people trapped alive inside the blaze, but the fire was too intense. We couldn't get to them."...

Many children burn alive as Israeli strike on Gaza school kills 25

from Daily Sabah

Scores of Gazan women and children were among at least 25 people killed in an Israeli strike that targeted a school housing war-displaced people, local authorities said Monday.

The strike targeted Fahmi al-Jarjawi School, where families had been seeking refuge from ongoing Israeli bombardments, said Al-Aqsa TV and other local sources, describing the incident as a "massacre."

A fire swept through the tents on the school compound, located in the Daraj neighbourhood of Gaza City, following the bombing.

The strike also wounded more than 55 people, said Fahmy Awad, head of the ministry's emergency service. He said a father and his five children were among the dead.

He said the school was hit three times while people slept, setting their belongings ablaze.

Eyewitness videos circulated online showing burned bodies, many of them children, and others crying out as flames consumed their surroundings.

"Charred corpses and the screams of displaced people engulfed in flames were seen and heard from the site," one report said...

Israeli carnage rages on after deadliest day in Gaza since March

from PressTV

Israel continues its carnage in Gaza after the deadliest day yet for Palestinians in the besieged territory since Israel resumed its war on the strip in March.

According to medical sources, 74 Palestinians have been killed so far on Friday, mostly in attacks on the northern Gaza Strip.

The Indonesian Hospital in the northern city of Beit Lahia alone had received 30 dead and dozens of injured, mostly children and women, according to a doctor at the hospital.

Meanwhile, five of the killed people and "more than 75 injured" were transferred to al-Awda Hospital in Jabalia, Mohammed Saleh, acting director of the hospital, said...

Israeli attacks kill 57 as Gaza blockade accelerates starvation

from al Jazeera

Israel’s attacks on Gaza have killed at least 57 people since dawn, targeting civilians in crowded places, as its more than two-month blockade of the besieged and bombarded enclave has caused acute food shortages, accelerating the starvation of the Palestinian population.

A reconnaissance drone strike targeted an area near the Thai and Palmyra restaurants, al-Wehda Street, in Gaza City. Two missiles were fired at two locations at the same time, 100 metres apart, one inside a restaurant and another at the intersection, killing at least 17 people.

More relentless Israeli strikes were scattered across Gaza on Wednesday, with 13 people killed and several more injured, in a strike targeting al-Karama School in the Tuffah neighbourhood in Gaza City.

Also in the north, another three people were killed and several were wounded in a strike on a house in Jabalia.

Another eight people, including a father, his children and cousins, were killed in Khan Younis city in the south, including five in a strike on one home.

Another three people, including a child, died after a tent shelter was hit in Deir el-Balah in the central Gaza Strip. A husband and wife were also killed when a house was hit in Bani Suheila village in the east of the Strip...

Over 100 Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes on school in Gaza

from PressTV

More than 100 Palestinians have been killed following Israeli airstrikes on a school sheltering displaced people in the east of the Gaza Strip, as the occupying regime presses ahead with its months-long aggression on the besieged territory.

Palestine’s official WAFA news agency said over 100 citizens were killed and dozens injured on Saturday morning after the Israeli occupation forces bombed the al-Tabi’in school in the al-Daraj neighborhood east of Gaza City.

Citing local sources, the agency said the occupation warplanes bombed the school while citizens were performing the dawn prayer.

“The Israeli strikes targeted the displaced people while performing Fajr (dawn) prayers, the matter led to a rapid increase in the number of casualties,” the government media office in Gaza said in a statement.

The media office stressed that the Israeli attack comes within the “framework of the crime of genocide and ethnic cleansing against our Palestinian people in a clear manner.”...
