ALBA-TCP Condemns US Military Buildup Near Venezuela as China and Regional Allies Back Maduro

from Venezuelan Analysis

Mexico City, Mexico, August 22, 2025 (venezuelanalysis.com) – Member nations from the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America–Peoples’ Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP) unanimously condemned recent US military deployments in Latin America and the Caribbean, labeling them as illegal and a threat to regional stability.

Following the escalation of “narco-state” accusations against Caracas, the US dispatched about 4,000 troops to the southern Caribbean Sea, at the edge of Venezuela’s territorial waters, in a purported anti-narcotics operation.

“Cuba firmly denounces this new demonstration of imperial force and makes a call to ALBA-TCP and from here to all the peoples of the world to condemn this irrational attack by the Trump Administration,” said Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel at the XIII Extraordinary Summit on Wednesday.

The declaration from the summit stated that the US is carrying out political persecution, military threats, and economic blockades against Venezuela and Cuba, violating international law and destabilizing the region. It reaffirmed ALBA-TCP’s anti-imperialist stance, calling for regional unity, rejection of foreign intervention, and defense of Latin America and the Caribbean as a Zone of Peace...

Maduro accuses US of using military to force regime change

(Here is the plan as I see it. In 2002 the Bush/Cheney regime (9/11) orchestrated a military coup in which Hugo Chavez was captured and taken via helicopter from the capitol.  A million Venezuelans marched to the presidential palace and surrounded it while the head of the Venezuelan Chamber of Commerce declared his new presidency and celebrated with business leaders in the hall with him inside the palace. The palace guard convinced the people to hold off while they tried to fix the situation. They went in and told the business cronies that they were about to be torn to shreds by a million pissed off Venezuelans so they called the Americans and had them return Chavez.

TrumpyBear, being led by the nose by his idiot military leaders, figure they can fix that situation with 4,000 marines but Maduro has activated the militias and sent them tons and tons of weapons. The marines will be slaughtered when a buisnessman and his mercinaries take the palace trying to get control of the country as well as the 50 million dollar bounty on Maduro's head.

When the marines are wiped out, as the military leadership knows will happen, then they can say Venezuela has started a war with America and they can kick it off in earnest.

This is the same thing as the Bay of Pigs situation in 1961 when the intelligence and military leadership set up U.S. troops and our proxy army (Cuban exiles) got stuck in the mud when they landed in Cuba to regime change Castro's government. They knew it would happen and they knew they would then push Kennedy to start an outright war with Cuba as a result. He didn't. He figured out what they did and planned to break the CIA 'into a thousand pieces' as a result and fired Dulles for lying to him.

I figure this is the same kind of thing happening right now with TrumpyBear and his intel/military leadership.)

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro condemned Washington’s decision to station three warships off his country’s coast, describing it as a direct attempt to impose regime change under the pretext of combating drug trafficking.

Maduro denounced the move as “immoral, criminal, and illegal,” warning that such actions threaten regional peace and violate international law.

Addressing lawmakers on Friday, he emphasized that any aggression against one Latin American state constitutes an attack on all nations in the region.

At the XIII Extraordinary Summit of ALBA-TCP Heads of State and Government, Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel delivered on Thursday a forceful denunciation of the Trump administration’s latest measures targeting Venezuela....

US Threatens Venezuela With Southern Caribbean Sea Troop Deployment; Maduro Mobilizes People’s Militia

from Venezuelan Analysis

Caracas, August 20, 2025 (venezuelanalysis.com) – Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro has ordered the deployment of more than four million members of the National Bolivarian Militia to defend Venezuela’s “territory, sovereignty, and peace.”

The mobilization follows the US dispatching about 4,000 troops to the southern Caribbean Sea, at the edge of Venezuela’s territorial waters, in a purported anti-narcotics operation. This comes amid renewed criminalizing “narco-state” narratives against Caracas.

In a televised address on Monday, Maduro urged all militia members to be “armed and ready” to defend the entire national territory. He also ordered the activation of campesino (peasant) and workers’ militias in rural areas and factories nationwide.

“No empire will come to touch the sacred soil of Venezuela, nor should it touch the sacred soil of South America,” Maduro remarked.

The Bolivarian Militia is a voluntary combat unit of the Venezuelan armed forces that was created in 2005 by President Hugo Chávez. It is composed of civilian men and women of all ages.

Venezuelan Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino López responded on Tuesday that the militia was prepared to “defend every inch” of the Caribbean nation. Caracas has prohibited the use of drones in Venezuelan territory for 30 days...

The Cartel of the Suns: Leftovers That Were Never Edible

from Venezuelan Analysis

The US narratives about the Cartel of the Suns and the alleged connection of President Nicolás Maduro with drug trafficking are nothing more than a reheated dish that was never edible, not even when it was first cooked.

However, the poor quality of this stew does not make it any less dangerous. The imperial power has used even more rotten pots as excuses to invade countries, bomb cities, and exterminate entire pueblos.

In fact, just days after US Attorney General Pam Bondi announced the doubling of the reward Washington is offering for Maduro’s capture, military forces were deployed in the Caribbean under the pretext of repressing drug trafficking by “Latin American cartels.”

The Venezuelan government and the Bolivarian National Armed Force (FANB), with their long experience confronting all kinds of aggressions—military, paramilitary, mercenary—from abroad, have remained on high alert...

Maduro claims Kiev is ‘world capital of Nazism’

from RT

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has condemned the leaders of France, Britain, and Germany for marking Victory Day in Kiev, which he described as “the world capital of Nazism and fascism.”

Maduro’s remarks came after he returned from Russia, where he took part in the celebrations of the 80th anniversary of victory over Nazi Germany on May 9 and signed a strategic cooperation treaty between Moscow and Caracas.

The parade on Red Square in Moscow and other commemorative events “acquired great significance because today there is a revival of Nazism and fascism,” the Venezuelan president said during his Con Maduro+ television program on Monday.

Kiev has become “the world capital of Nazism and fascism, where a pro-Nazi government rules,” he added.

Vladimir Zelensky’s government is “a protector of the Nazi currents, it exterminates the people of Ukraine and the peoples of the [former] Soviet Union,” Maduro insisted...

Spy Agencies Do Not Think Venezuela Directs Gang, Declassified Memo Shows

(Of course they don't you fucking morons)

from the NYT

A newly declassified memo released on Monday confirms that U.S. intelligence agencies rejected a key claim President Trump put forth to justify invoking a wartime statute to summarily deport Venezuelans to a prison in El Salvador.

The memo, dovetailing with intelligence findings first reported by The New York Times in March, states that spy agencies do not believe that the administration of Venezuela’s president, Nicolás Maduro, controls a criminal gang, Tren de Aragua. That determination contradicts what Mr. Trump asserted when he invoked the deportation law, the Alien Enemies Act.

“While Venezuela’s permissive environment enables TDA to operate, the Maduro regime probably does not have a policy of cooperating with TDA and is not directing TDA movement to and operations in the United States,” the memo said...

Bukele Proposes Deal That Would Free Deported Venezuelans

from the NYT

El Salvador’s president proposed on Sunday repatriating Venezuelan detainees sent to his country from the United States in exchange for the release of prisoners by Venezuela, including key figures in the Venezuelan opposition.

“I want to propose a humanitarian agreement that includes the repatriation of 100 percent of the 252 Venezuelans who were deported, in exchange for the release and surrender of an identical number (252) of the thousands of political prisoners you hold,” President Nayib Bukele wrote in an X post directed at President Nicolás Maduro of Venezuela.

Since March, the U.S. government has sent Venezuelans and Salvadorans accused of being affiliated with the Tren de Aragua and MS-13 gangs to El Salvador, where Mr. Bukele agreed to hold convicted criminals for the United States, for a fee.

Venezuela’s attorney general, Tarek William Saab, demanded the immediate release of the Venezuelans held in El Salvador late Sunday in a statement responding to Mr. Bukele. Mr. Saab didn’t say whether the Venezuelan government would consider the proposal...

US announces $25m reward for arrest of Venezuela's Maduro

(The US has put a bounty on the head of a foreign leader who dares thumb his nose at our 'national interests'  This just further proves my theory about what happened to Bashar al Assad and his wife and brother. We can't foment a color revolution in that country so we put out a bounty on the head of the leader we want gone and hope someone close to him takes him out for us. We did the same with Assad. The public nature of it serves another purpose in that it makes the leader paranoid wondering who will sell him out. Its cowardly. We are run by soulless, godless, pathetic cowards in this country who serve nothing more than Mammon. A vile display of corporate sycophants vying for attention from their masters.)

from the BBC  (H/T T)

The US has announced an increased $25m (£20.4m) reward for information leading to the arrest of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro on the day he was sworn in for a third six-year term in office.

The inauguration ceremony was overshadowed by recrimination from the international community and Venezuelan opposition leaders.

Rewards have also been offered for information leading to the arrest and or conviction of Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello. A new reward of up to $15m for Defence Minister Vladimir Padrino has also been offered.

The UK also issued sanctions on 15 top Venezuelan officials, including judges, members of the security forces and military officials.

The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office said those sanctioned were responsible for "undermining democracy, the rule of law, and human rights violations".

Foreign Secretary David Lammy went on to describe Maduro's regime as "fraudulent".

Also on Friday, the EU said it was extending "restrictive measures" against Venezuela because of "the lack of progress... leading to the restoration of democracy and the rule of law". The bloc also sanctioned a further 15 Venezuelan officials.

Canada also imposed fresh sanctions in what Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly called Maduro's "shameless actions".

Joly said Canada "will not tolerate the erosion of the democratic process or the repression of citizens seeking to express their rights".

Maduro and his government have repeatedly denounced many of the allegations made by Western countries and opposition leaders...

Musk spent $1bn on coup attempt – Maduro

from RT

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has accused tech tycoon Elon Musk of “investing” at least $1 billion in inciting violence in the South American country after the presidential election earlier this year.

Maduro was declared the winner of the July 28 poll by the national election authorities, though the US claimed that victory had been stolen from opposition candidate Edmundo Gonzalez.

During his weekly television program on Monday, Maduro alleged to have direct knowledge that Musk – with whom he has been engaged in a long-running public feud – had spent “no less than $1 billion” on “the coup d’etat, the fascist outbreak, the violence against the electoral process in Venezuela.”

The Venezuelan leader named his political opponent, businesswoman Maria Corina Machado, as the distributor of the alleged funding to “fascist” groups, claiming that the US government was ultimately behind attempts to oust him from power...

Musk has previously expressed support for removing foreign governments in pursuit of his corporate interests. In July 2020, he was challenged online with a claim that Washington had orchestrated a coup against Bolivian President Evo Morales so that his electric car company, Tesla, could secure access to the country’s rich lithium reserves. Musk responded with a post: “We will coup whoever we want! Deal with it.”...

Venezuela’s Maduro on Nasrallah’s assassination: Cowards of the world are silent

from PressTV

Venezuela’s President Nicolas Maduro has condemned the assassination of Lebanese Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah by “Hitlerish” Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, slamming the “coward” world leaders for remaining silent.

An Israeli regime force’s air strike on Friday against the southern suburbs of Beirut led to the assassination of the revered Secretary-General of Hezbollah and the killing of dozens of civilians.

The Venezuelan leader expressed his nation’s solidarity with the people of Gaza and Lebanon who he said were victims of “genocide” and “terrorist attacks” by the Israeli regime run by a “murderer who only reminds us of Hitler.”

“On behalf of the Historical Bloc of the Revolution, I express my solidarity with the Lebanese people after the announcement of the assassination of the Islamic leader, Sayyed Nasrallah.

“Cowards of the world are silent, but no one will silence the rebellious, revolutionary people,” Maduro said at a pro-Palestinian rally in La Guaira on Saturday.

Venezuela’s president called on Muslims, Arabs, and other peoples across the world to “raise their voices and show solidarity with the Palestinian people, with the people of Lebanon.”

“The orders for this attack were issued from the UN headquarters in New York,” he said, referring to Netanyahu’s presence at the United Nations General Assembly on Friday when he authorized the deadly attack...

Maduro discusses opposition, anti-fascism, and economic growth

from al Mayadeen English

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro expressed his respect for the decision of the right-wing opposition candidate in the recent presidential election, Edmundo Gonzalez, to leave the country, stressing that Venezuela today is "calm and applauding what happened."

Maduro stressed that diplomacy and negotiations always lead to the preservation of peace, stability, and the interests of the country, stressing that the most important values for him are one's word and the fulfillment of agreements.

Gonzalez had requested political asylum from the government of Spain, and recently left the country after voluntarily taking refuge in the Spanish embassy in Caracas for several days, due to the issuance of a judicial warrant for his arrest to try him on several charges committed during the period following the announcement of the election results by the National Electoral Commission in Venezuela.

According to Venezuelan prosecutors, the charges against Gonzalez include usurpation of a public office, forgery of a public document, incitement to insurrection, sabotage, and conspiracy with organized crime and terrorist financiers...

Maduro: Evidence of US role in assassination attempt revealed

from al Mayadeen English

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro declared that Venezuela stands at the "forefront of the fight against colonialism and fascism."

Speaking after the World Anti-Fascist Congress, he hailed the gathering of over 1,200 delegates from more than 95 countries as "an auspicious beginning for forging a powerful international movement against fascism and colonialism."

He also emphasized that Caracas’ stance in negotiations with Washington is to demand the removal of the "criminal sanctions imposed on Venezuelan society, economy, and people."

He added that lifting US sanctions would have been the starting point for the process of rapprochement and normalization of relations, "but instead, they have consistently engaged in deception."

Maduro revealed that during negotiations with the United States, plans to assassinate him were uncovered, along with violent schemes targeting military units and political power centers within the country. He stated that confessions from the planners and executors were obtained and that the evidence was presented. However, he claimed that "their media machines have deliberately concealed these facts."...

Venezuela: Supreme Court Delivers Electoral Review Verdict, Confirms Maduro Victory

from Venezuelan Analysis

The Venezuelan Supreme Court (TSJ) has concluded its review of the July 28 presidential elections in the Caribbean country.

On Thursday, Venezuela’s maximum judicial authority ratified President Nicolás Maduro’s victory to secure a third term that will run from January 10, 2025, to January 10, 2031.

In a press conference with state officials, diplomatic representatives and reporters, TSJ President Caryslia Rodríguez began by reaffirming the court’s jurisdiction and recalling recent electoral processes in Brazil, Mexico and the United States that were ultimately settled by judicial rulings. The magistrate then proceeded to read the verdict.

“We certify in an unobjectionable way that the examined electoral evidence confirms the results proclaimed by the National Electoral Council (CNE) which saw Nicolás Maduro reelected as president,” she said.

The CNE declared Maduro the winner with 52 percent of the vote, compared to 43 percent for US-backed opposition candidate Edmundo González...

Venezuela’s Supreme Court To Rule on Documentation Submitted To Decide on Election Result

(Let me get this straight:

  1. there was a massive DDOS attack on the official election site of Venezuela that prevented them from publishing the official results
  2. the opposition claiming Gonzalez won 70+% of the vote decided to skip the Supreme Court hearing refusing to submit their fraudulent 'evidence'
  3. the opposition now claims their 'evidence' of election rigging isn't actually theirs and they have no idea who put it on their bullshit website. The same evidence even the ALT-LEFT here in the States have used to say Maduro must go

Is that about the size of it?)

from TeleSUR

The Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) of Venezuela announced this Saturday that it will review documents submitted by political organizations and former candidates to make a decision at the end of the “validation” process of the elections on July 28, whose result confirmed the victory of President Nicolás Maduro.

“The judges of this Electoral Chamber are committed to the expertise of all the electoral material of probative value recorded in physical and/or digital, as well as to the expertise on the massive cyber attack that was the object of the Venezuelan electoral system” said the judges declaration.

The judge recalled that the candidate of the main opposition coalition, the Democratic Unitarian Platform (PUD), Edmundo González Urrutia, was the only one of the ten candidates who did not appear before the TSJ for this process requested by the re-elected president Nicolas Maduro.

In addition, Caryslia Rodríguez stated that the citizens Manuel Rosales, representative of Un Nuevo Tiempo (UNT), José Luis Cartaya, of the Mesa de la Unidad Democrática (MUD) and José Simón Calzadilla, of the Movimiento por Venezuela (MPV), all members of the United Platform for Democratic Democracy and candidates of former candidate González Urrutia did not register any electoral material, arguing that they do not have any documentation related to this electoral process.

The judge added that they stated that they do not have records of the counting of witnesses at the tables, nor lists of witnesses, Further arguing that they did not participate in the process of transferring and storing any material and were unaware of who uploaded the information of the alleged voting records on the website...

US offering Maduro ‘amnesty’ – WSJ

(Who uses narcoterrorism as a tool of war? Oh yeah, we do.  It's practically in our military's DNA.)

from RT

American officials have offered to drop “narco-terrorism” charges against Nicolas Maduro if the Venezuelan president transfers power to his political opponents, the Wall Street Journal reported on Sunday.

Maduro defeated Western-backed opposition figure Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia by 51.2% to 44.2% in a presidential election last month, securing himself a third term in office. Gonzalez’s supporters, however, claim that the vote was rigged, and the US officially recognized Gonzalez as Venezuela’s president-elect earlier this month.

According to the Wall Street Journal’s sources, Washington is now attempting to persuade Maduro to cede power to Gonzalez. In secret talks with confidants of Maduro, the White House has offered to pardon the Venezuelan president and his allies, who are currently wanted in the US on drug charges.

American officials are also trying to enlist Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia – whose leftist governments are seen as sympathetic to Caracas – to convince Maduro to accept the deal, the newspaper reported. Meanwhile, Gonzalez’s allies have also offered security guarantees to Maduro if he were to step down...

Maduro bans X

from RT

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has announced a temporary ban on X (formerly Twitter) in the country. The decision followed his war of words with the platform’s CEO, Elon Musk, who has accused Maduro of election fraud.

In a televised speech on Thursday, Maduro accused the tech mogul of “inciting hatred, fascism, civil war, death, [and] confrontation of Venezuelans,” as well as violating national laws. The leader added that he has signed a resolution presented by the National Commission of Telecommunications to ban the social media platform for ten days.

“Let the plans on social networks to spread violence, hatred... [in] Venezuela from abroad end,” Maduro wrote in a separate post on X.

In response, Musk took to the platform to mockingly promise to “singe his [Maduro’s] mustache from space.”...

Maduro slams US for interfering in Venezuela's domestic affairs

from Daily Sabah

President Nicolas Maduro condemned the United States for recognizing the opposition candidate Edmundo Gonzalez as the winner of the recent elections, as Argentina, Peru and Uruguay joined Washington in their recognition.

"The United States should not stick its nose into our affairs, because in Venezuela the sovereign people decide," Maduro said Friday. "Is the USA perhaps the electoral office? The fascist demon is the electoral office?"

Venezuela's electoral authority declared Maduro, who has been in power since 2013, the winner of Sunday's election. However, it has not yet published the detailed results from individual constituencies.

The opposition accuses the government of fraud and claims victory for González. The U.S., the European Union, the Organization of American States and a number of Latin American countries are also questioning the official election results.

Maduro told supporters at the Miraflores presidential palace that González "is a murderer and an agent of the CIA."...

Maduro slams protesters against election results as ‘fascist, counter-revolutionary’

from PressTV

President Nicolas Maduro slammed violent protests that flooded the streets of Venezuela’s capital and other cities after he had secured a third term in the election.

Maduro said in a nationally televised ceremony that “an attempt is being made to impose a coup d’etat in Venezuela again of a fascist and counterrevolutionary nature.”

“We have never been moved by hatred. On the contrary, we have always been victims of the powerful,” Maduro said.

“We already know this movie, and this time, there will be no kind of weakness,” he added, saying that Venezuela’s “law will be respected.”

Public anger swelled after the National Electoral Council (CNE) on Monday formally confirmed that Maduro had been re-elected by a majority of Venezuelans to another six-year term as president “for the period 2025-2031.”

It maintained Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia had failed to defeat the president, earning 44 percent of the votes compared with Maduro’s 51 percent...

Venezuelan Government Withdraws the Diplomatic Personnel from Seven Latin American Nations

from TeleSur English

The Government of Venezuela ordered on Monday all its diplomatic personnel from Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, Peru, Panama, the Dominican Republic and Uruguay to withdraw and demanded the immediate expulsion of representatives from these countries from Venezuela, after they refused to accept the victory of President Nicolás Maduro in the elections on July 28.

Through an official statement, the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry stated that this decision was taken in view of the «disastrous precedent which undermines our national sovereignty»while he stressed that the nation expresses its strongest rejection of the interventionist actions and statements of the group of right-wing governments, subordinated to Washington.

These governments, the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry emphasized, are openly committed “with the sordidest ideological postulates of international fascism, trying to republish the failed and defeated Lima Group, they claim to ignore the electoral results of the presidential elections held this Sunday, July 28».

“The Bolivarian Government has stressed that it will confront all actions that undermine the climate of peace and coexistence that so many efforts have demanded from the Venezuelan people, we are therefore opposed to all interventionist and siege pronouncements with which, repeatedly, the will of the Venezuelan people is being ignored”, said the Foreign Ministry...
