Ian Cat 4? Four Reasons Why they Exaggerate Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Ratings

Everything down here is fine in my neighborhood. Didn't even lose power. It seems obvious they are exaggerating Cat classification for hurricanes these days. This is why.

Looks like Hurricane Ian has tracked further south and is now expected to make landfall between Venice and Ft. Meyer Florida sometime in a couple hours. Hurricane Charley did the exact same thing back in 2004 and made landfall as a Cat 4 and destroyed several coastal cities. My heart goes out to them. Meanwhile the West is rejecting the results of the referendums held in 4 provinces in Ukraine b/c they seem to have 'voted the wrong way' again. Lot of that going on these days.
