Davos founder probed over alleged misconduct – WSJ

from RT

The World Economic Forum (WEF) has launched an internal investigation into whistleblower allegations of misconduct involving its founder and former chairman, Klaus Schwab, the Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday, citing a statement from the organization.

The report came one day after Schwab stepped down as chair of the WEF’s board of trustees without publicly explaining his decision. His resignation ended more than 50 years at the helm of the WEF, which he founded in 1971 and built into the influential host of the annual Davos summit of world leaders and chief executives.

According to the WSJ, the WEF board received an anonymous letter last week, reportedly from current and former employees, accusing Schwab and his wife, Hilde – also a former WEF employee – of financial and ethical misconduct. The letter claimed Schwab used the organization’s funds for personal expenses and instructed junior staff to withdraw cash for private use, including massages during official trips. It also alleged that Hilde Schwab used WEF money for luxury hotel stays during personal trips...

Trade wars erupt as Trump hits Canada, Mexico, China with steep tariffs

(Trump administration is continuing with Biden admin's plan to make the economy scream. In all likelihood so they can bring about... oh dare I say it?... the Great Reset and their digital currency agenda. Yep. The WEF is all about smaller government, deregulation and privatizations. All the stuff Trump and Musk are doing as fast as they can. And you thought it was over. Nope. Not by a longshot.)

from Reuters

U.S. President Donald Trump's new 25% tariffs on imports from Mexico and Canada took effect on Tuesday, along with a doubling of duties on Chinese goods to 20%, launching new trade conflicts with the top three U.S. trading partners.

The tariff actions, which could upend nearly $2.2 trillion in two-way annual U.S. trade went live at 12:01 a.m. EST (0501 GMT), hours after Trump declared that all three countries had failed to do enough to stem the flow of the deadly fentanyl opioid and its precursor chemicals into the U.S.

China responded immediately after the deadline, announcing additional tariffs of 10%-15% on certain U.S. imports from March 10 and a series of new export restrictions for designated U.S. entities.

Canada and Mexico, which have enjoyed a virtually tariff-free trading relationship with the U.S. for three decades, were poised to immediately retaliate against their longtime ally.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Ottawa would respond with immediate 25% tariffs on C$30 billion ($20.7 billion) worth of U.S. imports, and another C$125 billion ($86.2 billion) if Trump's tariffs were still in place in 21 days. He said previously that Canada would target American beer, wine, bourbon, home appliances and Florida orange juice...

Trump picks Big Tech critic who wrote ‘Project 2025’ chapter to lead FCC

from al Jazeera

United States President-elect Donald Trump has tapped Brendan Carr, a Republican known for his criticism of Big Tech, to lead the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

Carr, who has served as an FCC commissioner since 2017, will end the “regulatory onslaught” that has held back job creators and innovators, and ensure that the communications agency delivers for rural areas, Trump said in a statement on Sunday...

...  In a chapter of “Project 2025,” a blueprint for overhauling the federal government produced by The Heritage Foundation, Carr argued that Section 230 of the Communications Act should be limited to crack down on what conservatives say is widespread viewpoint discrimination by tech platforms...

.. Liberals have expressed alarm at Carr’s views, expressing concern that he intends to politicise the FCC and arguing that Section 230, which shields internet providers from liability over the content they carry, is essential to a free and open internet...

... Max Burns, a Democratic strategist, said that Carr was aligned with Trump’s plans to use the FCC as a “weapon against news networks the president doesn’t like”.

“Get ready,” Burns said in a post on X...

World Economic Forum finally tells the truth about Covid: It was a ‘test’ of our obedience to rapidly forming new world order

by Leo Hohmann from TruthSeeker

I have long said that Covid 19 was launched by design by a small number of people in the globalist predator class for one reason and one reason only — as a beta test for the coming technocratic new world order.

Now, we’ve got the World Economic Forum coming out and all but admitting that was exactly why the Covid-19 “pandemic” had to happen.

The WEF gleefully posted the following snippet to the “My Carbon” page of its website where they make a pitch for so-called smart cities, which is just another term for 15-minute cities.

The first of three “developments” that the WEF says must be in place before the world can evolve into its utopian vision of “smart and sustainable cities,” is compliance with restrictions on our freedom. It writes:

  1. COVID-19 was the test of social responsibility – A huge number of unimaginable restrictions for public health were adopted by billions of citizens across the world. There were numerous examples globally of maintaining social distancing, wearing masks, mass vaccinations and acceptance of contact-tracing applications for public health, which demonstrated the core of individual social responsibility.

They were testing us. That’s what Covid was all about. They wanted to see how many of us would give up our individual freedom and individual sovereignty by complying with a “new normal” that consisted of restrictions bordering on the absurd. Why, for instance was it “safe” to shop at Lowe’s or Home Depot but unsafe to shop at a small business or attend church? Why was it OK to go to strip clubs in Michigan but you couldn’t buy seeds for a garden?...

Debt From Above: The Carbon Credit Coup

by Mark Goodwin and Whitney Webb from Unlimited Hangout

Latin America is quietly being forced into a carbon market scheme through regional contractual obligations – enforced by the satellites of a US intelligence-linked firm – which seeks to create an inter-continental “smart grid,” erode national and local sovereignty, and link carbon-based life to the debt-based monetary system via a Bitcoin sidechain.

...

In 2022, several groups came together to launch the GREEN+ (Government Reduction of Emissions for Environmental Net + Gain) Jurisdictional Programme, the “first program that will monitor by satellite all subnational protected areas of the planet” and – through contracts with numerous local and state governments – propel and deepen the economic integration of the Americas through the quiet imposition of a continent-wide, blockchain-based carbon market.

GREEN+ has been piloted in a handful of Latin American cities since its founding and is due to launch globally in just a few weeks time. Most of the GREEN+ agreements with “subnational” governments have remained focused on Latin America. Per the program, the subnational agreements have established the “rules and requirements to enable accounting and crediting with GREEN+ policies and measures and/or nested projects, implemented as GHG mitigation activities,” with GREEN+ being described as “the planet’s new subnational government advisory mechanism.”

Key to the program are the services provided by GREEN+ founding member Satellogic, an Argentina-founded company closely aligned with Peter Thiel’s Palantir and Elon Musk’s SpaceX that specializes in sub-meter resolution satellite surveillance. Satellogic, a contractor to the US government and whose founders were also previously contactors for the US’ DHS, NSA and DARPA, will provide surveillance data of the entire world’s “protected areas” to GREEN+’s governing coalition, composed of the NGOs CC35, the Global Footprint Network, The Energy Coalition and other “respected stakeholders.”...

The Digital ID Will Change the Lives of Every Australian - For the Worse

 Malcolm Roberts

As much as the Government attempts to downplay the importance of introducing a single central digital identifier for all Australians, the truth is that this legislation is the most significant I've encountered during my time in the Senate.

UK farmers plow into central London

from RT

Over 150 tractors descended on Britain’s Parliament on Monday evening in a protest against post-Brexit regulations and trade agreements that they say will endanger their livelihoods and undermine food security.

Farm vehicles flying UK flags made their way across London and through Westminster, carrying signs with slogans such as ‘Save British farming’ and ‘No farming, no food, no future’. The tractor rally became the largest among the latest protests launched by farmers across the country.

According to the campaign groups Save British Farming and Fairness for Farmers of Kent that organized the march, cheap food imports and unsupportive policies are putting food security in the country at major risk...

Biggest rise in ‘absolute poverty’ for 30 years seen in UK

from Press TV

The United Kingdom has seen the biggest rise in “absolute poverty” in 30 years, according to new data published by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

In Britain “relative poverty” refers to the citizens whose income is 40 percent below the national average, and “absolute poverty” measures the number of people who cannot afford a set standard of living.

UK Treasury spokesperson Sarah Olney said, “This is a devastating rise and behind these numbers will be stories of children going hungry and families unable to heat their homes.”

Meanwhile, shadow employment and social security minister Alison McGovern commented that the “Conservative government crashed the economy and unleashed a cost of living crisis, pushing families across the country into poverty and a million children into destitution.”...

‘Your vampire ball is over’ – Putin to Western elites

from RT

The era of Western elites being able to exploit other nations and other peoples across the world is coming to an end, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in an exclusive interview published by Rossiya 1 and RIA Novosti on Wednesday.

The president stated that over the past few centuries, the so-called “golden billion” has grown accustomed to being able to “fill their bellies with human flesh and their pockets with money” as they have been “parasitizing” other peoples in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

”But they must understand that the vampire ball is ending,” Putin said.

He added that the citizens of the aforementioned regions, which have been continuously exploited by the West over the past 500 years, have started to associate Russia’s struggle for sovereignty with “their own aspirations for sovereignty and independent development.”

At the same time, Putin noted that Western elites have a very strong desire to “freeze the current situation” and preserve the “unjust state of affairs in international affairs.”...

‘We feed the nation’: Indian farmers hit the streets on election eve. What do they want?

from RT

At 8am at the Shambhu border, a crossing between the northern Indian states of Punjab and Haryana, Daya Singh, 35, fixed his blue headgear and prepared for a day-long sit-in to join hundreds of farmers protesting at the site to demand guaranteed minimum price for crops. Like hundreds of other farmers, he has been sleeping in his tractor trolley for the last five days after volunteering for different tasks at the protest.

“We are forced to hit the streets. we want protection for our crops,” Singh told RT.

This comes at a crucial juncture in India, as the general election, in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s party is expected to win a third term, is approaching in a few months.

The farmers’ vote will have an impact. Agriculture employs around 58% of the country’s population and accounts for about 18.3% of India’s GDP at current prices. Its market size is estimated at $372.94 billion in 2024, and is expected to reach $473.72 billion by 2029. India is the world’s second largest producer of wheat, rice, and sugar...

Globalists are Framing China for Pending Western Economic Crash

They always need a fall guy. The WEF and the Global Warming cult are set to bring about another economic collapse in order to create the crisis they need to justify the Great Reset but they can't do it without blaming someone with a different economic system so they seem to have chosen China to take the fall.

Kit Knightly – 2024: The Year Global Government Takes Shape

by Kit Knightly from The Truth Seeker

Global government is the endgame. We know that.

Total control of every aspect of life for every single person on the planet, that’s the goal.

That’s been apparent to anyone paying attention for years, if not decades, and any tiny portion of remaining doubt was removed when Covid was rolled-out and members of the establishment started outright saying it.

Covid marked an acceleration of the globalist agenda, a mad dash to the finish line that seems to have lost momentum short of victory, but the race is still going. The goal has not changed, even if the years since may have seen the agenda retreat slightly back into the shadows.

We know what they want conceptually, but what does that mean practically?

What does a potential “global government” actually look like?

First off, let’s talk about what we’re NOT going to see...

Yuval Harari on the Future With mRNA Enhanced Super Elites and Billions of Useless Eaters

Yuval Noah Harari: at 1:12 mark in video

So we may be facing in the 21st century a completely new kind of inequality which we have never seen before in human history—on the one hand, the emergence of a new upgraded elite of superhumans enhanced by bioengineering and brain-computer interfaces and things like that, and on the other hand a new massive useless class, a class that has no military or economic usefulness and, therefore, also no political power.

The Great Reset Straight from the Nazi Horse's Mouth

by Scott Creighton

In a series of videos, Klaus Schwab is going to explain to us how we must completely remake global governance (doing away with the illusion of democracy), how we need to get used to AI systems 'prescribing' to us who wins future 'elections' and how we need to get used to EVERYTHING we do being monitored by Nazi Big Brother at all times.

This is, of course, everything we have been warning folks about over the years and here he is confirming all of it. As with Covid and the fake mRNA vaccines, the 'conspiracy theorists' were attacked for being right all along.

Looming deadline puts pressure on slow pandemic treaty negotiations

 from EURACTIV

Controversial topics, little time and closed doors – talks are moving slowly and significant disagreements are yet to be negotiated among the World Health Organisation (WHO) members on a Pandemic Accord.

Given the complex and delicate topics on the table, doubts persist as to whether the 194 WHO member states will be able to agree on a pandemic treaty with any significant impact. At the same time, their deadline for an agreement on 24 May 2024 at the World Health Assembly (WHA) is extremely tight.

“I think it’s going to be challenging for member states to meet the deadline. My perception from the last session [in July] is that the process is moving slowly,” Daniela Morich, manager and advisor at the Governing Pandemics Initiative hosted by the Global Health Centre at the Geneva Graduate Institute, told Euractiv.

Agreeing on a new WHO instrument could be an opportunity to ensure better prevention and preparedness for future pandemics as well as agree on how to improve global response and global access to medical countermeasures.

The talks are happening in the Intergovernmental Negotiating Body (INB), which WHO members decided to establish in 2021 to draft and negotiate a new WHO instrument.

Many of the ongoing informal talks and drafting sessions have happened behind closed doors until now. So far, countries have been meeting to try to understand each other’s positions, but text-based negotiations still have not begun and compromises on the most tricky topics will be difficult to reach...

WHO pandemic treaty: Negotiations falter as pharma companies warn that intellectual property rules will harm profits

the BMJ

Pharmaceutical representatives and Germany’s health ministry have publicly opposed the latest draft of the World Health Organization’s pandemic treaty as a disagreement over waiving intellectual property (IP) rights becomes a sticking point in negotiations.

WHO’s pandemic prevention, preparedness, and response accord is intended to prevent future health threats from becoming as catastrophic as covid-19 by legally obligating countries to cooperate, share knowledge, and reduce health inequities.

Since WHO’s 194 member states officially began negotiating on the treaty’s content in March this year disagreements have centred on the scope of the accord and how strongly countries should be obligated to fulfil its stipulations. The disagreements, which often follow the dividing lines of lower and higher income countries, seem to be hardening as the thorny issue of IP comes into focus...

Draft “Pandemic Treaty” Fails to Protect Rights

from HRW

World Health Organization (WHO) member states should push for clear commitments to human rights protections in the text of a draft “pandemic treaty” being negotiated on November 6-10, four rights organizations said today. The current draft fails to enshrine core human rights standards protected under international law, most notably the right to health and the right to benefit from scientific progress, therefore risking a repeat of the tragic failures during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The WHO’s Intergovernmental Negotiating Body is meeting to debate the draft of a new international instrument on pandemic prevention, preparedness, and response with the goal of addressing the failures of the Covid-19 response and preventing another global crisis. However, rather than acting on the lessons learned from the Covid-19 pandemic, the current proposed text offers a weak framework for ensuring that countries will be accountable for maintaining a rights-compliant response to future pandemics.

This is the position taken by four international human rights groups: Amnesty International, the Global Initiative for Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, the International Commission of Jurists, and Human Rights Watch..
