US military officially ends mission of controversial pier off Gaza's coast

(and the Nakba Pier is ended... again?)

from PressTV

The US military has officially declared an end to the mission of its floating pier off the coast of the Gaza Strip that was apparently used to facilitate an Israeli massacre instead of delivering aid to the besieged territory.

Speaking at a news briefing on Wednesday, Navy Vice Admiral Brad Cooper, the deputy commander of US Central Command (CENTCOM), claimed that the water dock had “achieved its intended effect to surge a very high volume of aid into Gaza”.

"The maritime surge mission involving the pier is complete. So there's no more need to use the pier," he added...

How DementiaJoe's Debate Fail is Costing Palestinian Lives

We are sending more bombs to Israel to depopulate northern Gaza and even set the Nakba Pier back up to ship forcibly displaced Palestinians to Big Business for use as cheap labor. All because Joe Biden screwed up a debate and now he needs the Zionist lobby to stay in power. Its sickening.

The Latest | US-built aid pier in Gaza will reopen for a few days, then be removed permanently

(Looks like Biden team figured out they could get the American press off their backs if they brought back the Nakba Pier and started giving the Israeli Zionists some more Big Gubmint welfare in the form of 500lb bombs to drop on Gaza City. Seems to be working as the MSM and even some alt-media influencer types are now supporting DimentiaJoe staying in the race while he shits his pants at NATO functions.)

from the AP

The (NAKBA) pier built by the U.S. military to bring humanitarian aid to Gaza will get reinstalled Wednesday to be used for several days, but then the plan is to pull it out permanently, several U.S. officials said. It would deal the final blow to a project long plagued by bad weather, security uncertainties and difficulties getting food into the hands of starving Palestinians.

Heavy Israeli bombardments pounded Gaza City on Tuesday, driving thousands of Palestinians to flee and forcing medical facilities to shut down because of the latest offensive in the territory’s north. And in southern Gaza, an apparent Israeli airstrike on a school-turned-shelter killed at least 25 people and wounded dozens more, Palestinian health officials said.

Hamas has warned that Israel’s expanding military operations in Gaza City and the displacement of thousands of residents could have “disastrous repercussions” for talks aimed at a cease-fire and the release of Israeli hostages...

US to resume shipment of heavy bombs to Israel despite rising civilian deaths

from PressTV

The administration of US President Joe Biden is set to resume shipping heavy bombs to the Israeli regime in defiance of international calls against the move, in line with Washington’s untrammeled support for the occupying entity in its months-long genocidal war on Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip.

Speaking on condition of anonymity on Wednesday, a US official said Washington would resume shipping 500-pound bombs to Israel. The official added, however, that the US would continue to hold back on supplying 2,000-pound bombs over what he claimed to be “concerns” about their use in the densely populated city of Rafah in southern Gaza.

“We’ve been clear that our concern has been on the end-use of the 2,000-lb bombs, particularly for Israel’s Rafah campaign which they have announced they are concluding,” the official said.

“Our main concern had been and remains the potential use of 2,000 lb bombs in Rafah and elsewhere in Gaza ... because our concern was not about the 500 lb bombs, those are moving forward as part of the usual process,” the official added.

The US media also confirmed that the shipment of 500-pound bombs to Israel is getting underway...

Gaza resistance sources say fear is rising U.S. pier will be used for forced displacement of Palestinians

(Nakba Pier)

from Mondoweiss

In March 2024, U.S. President Joe Biden announced in his State of the Union address that the U.S. would be building a temporary “floating pier” on the Gaza shoreline to deliver humanitarian aid to the starving population in Gaza. “No U.S. boots will be on the ground,” he promised.

Since then, however, critics have raised concerns that the pier is not only being used for “humanitarian” purposes but is being employed for military activities that aid in the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza.

An intelligence source from within the resistance in Gaza, who spoke to Mondoweiss under conditions of anonymity, says there are mounting signs the U.S. pier could also be used to forcibly displace Palestinians. This would provide an alternative to the original Israeli plan of forcing Palestinians into the Sinai, which was rejected by Egypt early on in the war.

“The floating pier project is an American solution to the displacement dilemma in Gaza,” the source said. “It goes beyond both the Israeli solution of displacing Gazans into Sinai…and the Egyptian suggestion of displacing [Gazans] into the Naqab [desert].”

Instead, the source said, the U.S. pier would be used to facilitate the displacement of Gazans to Cyprus, and then eventually to Lebanon or Europe...

Damaged temporary US aid (NAKBA) pier in Gaza reopens

from Daily Sabah

The repair of the aid pier established by the U.S. that was damaged in a storm has been completed, the military said Friday.

Gaza has been devastated by Israeli attacks that are now entering their ninth month, uprooting the coastal territory's population and leaving them in dire need of humanitarian assistance.

"U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) successfully reestablished the temporary pier in Gaza, enabling the continued delivery of much-needed humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza," the military command responsible for the Middle East said in a social media post.

Vice Admiral Brad Cooper, deputy head of CENTCOM, told journalists that "we expect to resume delivery of humanitarian assistance from the sea in the coming days."

"The policy of no U.S. boots on the ground does remain in effect," so Israeli forces assisted with the process onshore, Cooper said.

"The Israeli Defense Force engineers were the enabling force on the beach,"...

Biden Admin Cannot Veto UN Resolutions B/C They Helped Israel PLAN the GENOCIDE

The building of the Nakba Pier at the new Netzarim Settlement site in Gaza along route 749 (aka the Netzarim corridor) and the continued support of the IDF's brutal actions in Palestine prove the United States is not only complicit in Israel's genocide but they are actually a partner in this war crime and therefore they should not be allowed to veto any UNSC resolutions.

God Wiped Biden's Nakba Pier Off the Damn Map Before Israel Could Rebuild Netzarim Settlements

 by Scott Creighton

So who exactly are 'God's chosen people' now? Hmmm? Is God to be declared an anti-Semite?

After only being in operation for a week and a half, God sent a 'North African storm' over to Gaza to erase it from the coastline. He/she knew that according to reports, none of the aid brought into Gaza via the pier had made it to the Palestinians anyway, probably ending up being given by the IDF to rabid racist zealot settlers in the West Bank instead.

Yep, the Nakba Pier, actually designed to facilitate the forced removal of Palestinians from Gaza (since our puppet in Egypt said it would be a bad look for him to let them force em all into desert concentration camps in the Sinai) was washed away after a mysterious squall appeared out of nowhere.

Reports are that the boats they were using to ferry aid and other things from transport ships to the Nakba Pier became dislodged from their moorings and drifted off without anyone on board some ending up beached in Gaza and others drifted all the way to Israel.

These images released by Maxar Technologies shows the newly completed pier on the Gaza Strip on May 18, 2024, top, and ther emaining section of the temporary pier on May 29, 2024. A string of security, logistical and weather problems have battered the plan to deliver desperately needed humanitarian aid to Gaza through a U.S. military-built pier. Broken apart by strong winds and heavy seas just over a week after it became operational, critics complain that the project hasn’t lived up to its initial billing or its $320 million price tag.(Satellite images ©2024 Maxar Technologies via AP)

The Nakba Pier is built at the end of the Nakba Highway which was started at the beginning of the current conflict. It's located near Netzarim beach where the highway ends which implies someone has some big plans for a new resort location to eventually be connected to the highway to Glorious Israel.

'IDF soldiers posted in the Gaza Strip on Monday documented the American pier near Netzarim beach sinking in the water. The soldier who shot the video is overheard saying: “This is what happens when you help the enemy.” The Jewish Press
Perhaps most telling: 'The corridor is named for the site of the former Israeli settlement that it includes.' Yep they named it after an illegal settlement that was there in the past implying they are planning to steal the land and rebuild the settlement.

Itamar Ben-Gvir promotes future Israeli settlements in Gaza

from Aletho News

An Israeli minister has once again called for the expulsion of the Palestinians from the Gaza Strip and an expansion of settlements in the besieged Palestinian territory.

Itamar Ben-Gvir in comments carried by Israel’s Maariv news site on Tuesday advocated a full military takeover of Gaza.

The far-right minister said Israel should push the Palestinians to “voluntarily” leave to make way for settlements.

“Israel should be the one that controls the Gaza Strip, unequivocally, and no one else,” Ben-Gvir said.

Most important, he said, is “encouraging voluntary emigration of Palestinians” from the territory. “I would love to live in Gaza if possible.”

Last week, the minister said the settlements called for by far-right attendees were the “true solution.”

“We must encourage emigration. Encourage the voluntary emigration of the residents of Gaza. It is moral!”...

Nakba Pier at the End of the Nakba Highway Proves Biden's Collusion in War Crimes (video)

The Nakba Pier is proof that Joe Biden has been complicit in war crimes with Israel since the very beginning.

Nakba Pier at the End of the Nakba Highway Proves Biden's Collusion in War Crimes

 by Scott Creighton

The Nakba Pier is exactly what we thought it was going to be... a fast-tracked exit for Palestinians being forcefully relocated to places like Canada, US and Europe where billionaires and Big Business want cheap migrant labor to bring down wage costs and jack up profit margins.

There is some talk on social media about the location of the pier which is patently incorrect which is hard to figure out because the exact location was finally disclosed when reporters found sat images of the pier and were able to geolocate it precisely.

It is sitting right at the end of the IDF's Nakba Highway a.k.a. the Netzarim Corridor or Highway 739.

This is what is being passed off as the location of the pier.

Hamas rejects US floating pier for Gaza aid as publicity stunt

from PressTV

The Hamas government in Gaza has rejected America’s establishment of a temporary floating pier designed to increase the amount of aid getting into the besieged strip as a publicity stunt “to beautify its ugly face.”

"The floating water dock off the coast of Gaza does not meet the needs of our Palestinian people for food. We demand the opening of land crossings and the immediate and urgent entry of aid and goods through them," the Gaza government media office said in a statement issued on Friday night.

US President Joe Biden ordered the construction of the pier in March. Shortly afterward, the US deployed naval ships to the Eastern Mediterranean to construct the "floating pier" that will reportedly receive aid from Cyprus, and send it onward to Gaza.

The US announcement came amid mounting pressure on Israel to allow aid into Gaza as the UN and other aid agencies have warned of imminent famine due to Israel's prevention of the land-based delivery of life-saving aid to Gaza.

The US military said on Friday that trucks carrying humanitarian assistance will soon begin moving ashore "in the coming days."

USAID response director Dan Dieckhaus said on Wednesday the construction of the pier - known as a Joint Logistics Over-the-Shore (JLOTS) system - is complete...

Netanyahu to AIPAC: I suggested idea of Gaza-aid sea route to Biden

from JNS Mar 18

... “Everything that you see: The airdrops, that’s with us; the sea route, that’s with us—it actually started out as an idea that I presented to President Biden two weeks into the war,” Netanyahu said during the meeting in Jerusalem, a recording of which was shared by his office...

In his March 7 State of the Union address, Biden announced the establishment of a floating pier on the Gaza coast to deliver supplies following an inspection. Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant welcomed the initiative, saying that it would help collapse the Hamas terrorist group.

Two days after Biden’s speech, IDF Spokesperson Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari revealed that “following the directive of the minister of defense, and together with our partners in the United States and the United States Central Command, we are coordinating the establishment of a temporary floating pier, intended to bring humanitarian aid to Gaza.”...

IDF completes road across width of Gaza, satellite images show (Mar 9)

(Biden's Nakba Pier will be at the end of this road)

'In his address Thursday (Mar 7th), Biden directed the military to construct a temporary pier on Gaza's coast “that can receive large ships carrying food, water, medicine and temporary shelters.” Biden said the pier will “enable a massive increase in the amount of humanitarian assistance getting into Gaza every day.”Mar 9, 2024'

A satellite image showing the new road running across Gaza

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has finished building a new road which runs across northern Gaza from east to west, according to satellite images verified by the BBC.

The IDF told the BBC they were attempting to gain an "operational foothold", and facilitate the movement of troops and equipment.

But some experts fear it will used as a barrier, preventing Palestinians from returning to their homes in the north.

Others said it appeared to be part of an Israeli plan to remain in Gaza beyond the end of current hostilities.

In February, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu unveiled a post-war vision in which Israel would control security in Gaza indefinitely...

Netanyahu 'suggests new US-built port could help deport Palestinians'

(And there you have it. Confirmation of the real purpose of the Nakba Pier)

from Middle East Eye

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reportedly suggested that the new US-built makeshift port off Gaza, which was installed to help ship aid to the besieged enclave, could be used to deport Palestinians.

Washington earlier this month announced plans for the military to construct a "temporary" floating dock on Gaza's coast to allow aid to enter more easily.

“A temporary pier will enable a massive increase in the amount of humanitarian assistance getting into Gaza every day,” US President Joe Biden said.

However, speaking at a private meeting of the Knessett's Foreign Affairs and Security Committee, Netanyahu suggested the port could also facilitate the removal of Palestinians from Gaza.

Netanyahu said there was "no obstacle" to the Palestinians leaving the Gaza Strip apart from the unwillingness of other countries to accept them, according to a Kan News journalist...

Biden's NAKBA Pier Must be STOPPED

There is no question. This pier in Gaza being built for the Israelis by the Biden administration will not be used to feed starving Palestinians but rather to export forced migrants to Western nations looking for cheap immigrant labor.
