Kiev planning false-flag attack ahead of Trump-Putin summit – MOD

(So Zelensky and his crew of neo-Nazis are planning to kill innocent Ukrainian civilians in order to keep this war going which has already killed half a million of his people. And we are told it's Hamas that kills it's own people. Hey Midas Touch. Any statement on this one?)

from RT

Russia’s Ministry of Defense has alleged that the Ukrainian government is preparing a high-profile provocation intended to derail the upcoming summit between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart Donald Trump scheduled for August 15.

According to Moscow, the plan involves staging an attack in a frontline city and blaming it on Russian forces in order to create a damaging international media narrative.

The Russian side asserts that Western journalists have already been brought into the Kharkov Region in order to produce civilian-focused reports.

On April 1, 2022, the Zelensky government accused the Russian military of massacring civilians in the town of Bucha near Kiev. Moscow maintains that the alleged massacre in March 2022 was a Ukrainian false-flag operation designed to derail peace talks which were taking place in Istanbul at the time. Moscow insists that the killings took place after its forces had left the town, and has called for a UN investigation. ..

Turkish FM calls forcing Israel into peace

(The other day Israel's foreign minister was screeching about how Iran causes all the problems in the world and said that Glorious Israel is on the front lines defending the world from da ebil Iranians... she had been asked about Israel's nukes. She also snuck in a dig at Turkey saying they are doing the same thing and that Israel 'has no ambitions'... This morning the NYT published an op ed from the editorial staff about how ebil Erdogan needs to be regime changed for democracy and liberty and all that jazz. For folks out there still demonizing Turkey and Erdogan from the fake alt-left... you will be known by the company you keep.)

from Daily Sabah

At a news conference with his Qatari counterpart Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani in Doha on Sunday, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan reiterated Ankara's support for Palestinians, expressing hope for swift aid delivery to Gaza. Fidan said Hamas was ready for truce in the Palestinian enclave and now Israel should be forced to accept peace.

He emphasized that Palestinian resistance movement was open to a lasting solution and Israel should take steps accordingly too.

Fidan also spoke about presence of YPG, an offshoot of terrorist group PKK, in Syria. He underlined that the group should either accept being "left out of the system in Syria as Daesh did" or they would bear the consequences. He urged YPG to accept ending its presence in post-Assad Syria "in peace."

Hamas releases four Israeli soldiers captured in Oct. 2023

(If you watch the video the 4 young girls are smiling and waving at the crowd who are cheering for them. They are smiling back. I would love to hear the true story of what happened to them over these past 15 months. I am sure they are already making the film version full of lies and propaganda. But I would love to hear the true story. I have never seen a Palestinian released from the IDF smiling and waving at Jewish Israelis cheering for him. Its never happened and probably never will. Just like I will never hear the truth about that happened to those healthy, happy young women. Shin Bet already has them and they are soldiers so they are being commanded to lie about their captors.)

from PressTV

Hamas has released four female Israeli soldiers it had captured during Operation al-Aqsa Flood on Oct. 7, 2023 under a truce deal in the Gaza war.

In exchange for the release of the captives on Saturday, the Israeli regime is expected to release 200 Palestinians held in Israeli prisons.

The four soldiers were presented on a stage at a main square in Gaza City, where dozens of Hamas fighters had gathered earlier, and handed over to the Red Cross.

The Israeli military confirmed having taken custody of the soldiers, saying they were being accompanied by special forces and Shin Bet agents on their return to the occupied territories, "where they will undergo an initial medical assessment".

The four, all Israeli soldiers dressed in military fatigues, had been held captive in the Palestinian territory since Hamas captured them during their landmark operation.

They appeared to be in good condition and were seen smiling as each carried a bag and waved to the crowd in Gaza City’s Palestine Square where the stage was adorned with the message, in Hebrew, "Zionism will not prevail"...

Israeli army continues deadly raid in Jenin, two more killed in West Bank

from al Jazeera

Israel’s deadly raid in Jenin has entered its third day, with its forces issuing a forced evacuation threat to residents of the refugee camp in the city.

Hundreds of Palestinians in Jenin refugee camp started leaving their homes on Thursday.

“The Israeli army, using loudspeakers on drones and military vehicles, ordered them to evacuate the camp,” where Israel’s military launched an intense military operation this week, Jenin governor Kamal Abu al-Rub told AFP news agency.

Elsewhere, two Palestinian men were killed overnight in attacks by Israeli forces in Burqin, taking the death toll to 12 across Jenin governorate in the first two days of large-scale raids.

The raids are part of Israel’s “Iron Wall” campaign across the occupied Palestinian territory, launched just days after a ceasefire in Gaza...

Smotrich threatens to topple government over ceasefire phase 2

from al Mayadeen English

Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich has threatened to bring down the Israeli government if the second phase of the ceasefire agreement with Gaza is implemented, which includes halting the ongoing fighting.

"I will bring down the government if it does not return to fighting in a way that [leads to us] taking over the entire Gaza Strip and governing it," he added, bashing Israeli Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi as "weak in strategy".

In a controversial interview with Israeli public radio station Kan, Smotrich criticized the proposed prisoner exchange deal with Hamas, stressing that "the greatest strategic damage" of the ceasefire lies in the message it sends "that kidnapping Israelis brings the State of Israel to its knees."

Smotrich went on to say that "the only way to repair this damage and turn the deal into a tactical loss in battle rather than a strategic defeat in the war is to return to fighting until Hamas is destroyed."

Smotrich, who opposed the deal during a meeting of the Security Cabinet, further expressed concern that the deal mirrors one proposed in July. He warned that it could lead to the return of Hamas leaders to northern Gaza, specifically noting, "Nothing prevents Muhammed Deif from returning."...

Settlers rampage through Palestinian towns in fury over Gaza deal

from al Mayadeen English

Israeli settlers, accompanied by Israeli occupation forces, stormed multiple Palestinian towns in the occupied West Bank on Sunday evening, expressing outrage over a Gaza ceasefire deal widely perceived as a defeat for the Israeli entity.

The settlers targeted Palestinian vehicles and blocked key roads in areas including Turmus Ayya, ‘Atara, Ein Siniya, Ein Ayoub, Qalqilya, and Jaba’.

In Sinjil, WAFA news agency reported that two Palestinian homes and four vehicles were set on fire. Social media footage captured settlers throwing stones and Molotov cocktails during their attacks.

The assaults occurred just hours before "Israel" released the first group of Palestinian detainees—69 women and 21 children—in exchange for three Israeli captives as part of a truce agreement between the Palestinian Resistance Hamas and "Israel". The deal aimed to end "Israel's" 15-month-long war on Gaza...

Tears, hugs abound as Israel releases 90 Palestinian prisoners

from Daily Sabah

At least 90 Palestinian prisoners were released by Israel Monday after Hamas handed over three Israeli hostages, completing the first exchange under a long-awaited truce in Gaza.

Two buses carrying Palestinian prisoners had to inch through a thick crowd when they at last arrived in the West Bank at 2 a.m. Monday.

After the doors opened, women hugged their relatives and cried tears of joy while throngs of people chanted, waved flags and climbed atop the vehicles. Others lit fireworks in the normally quiet suburb of Beitunia.

Bushra al-Tawil, a Palestinian journalist jailed in Israel in March 2024, was among the first batch of prisoners to be released in the truce.

Over the next 42 days, around 1,900 Palestinians are due to be freed in exchange for 33 Israeli hostages held by Hamas in Gaza.

Tawil began her journey at 3 a.m. the day before when she was taken from her prison to another nearer the separation wall. There, she was grouped with other inmates awaiting movement.

"The wait was extremely hard. But thank God, we were certain that at any moment we would be released," she said...

Far-right Israeli minister Ben-Gvir quits govt over Gaza dea

(Genocidal Jewish Supremacist takes his ball and goes home when stuff doesn't go his way)

from Daily Sabah

Israeli far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir resigned Sunday in protest against the cease-fire agreement between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, according to Israeli media reports.

Ben-Gvir's far-right, ultra-nationalist Otzma Yehudit party, which holds six seats in the 120-seat Knesset, will leave the governing coalition, according to the reports.

Ben-Gvir had long voiced resistance against a cease-fire deal with Hamas, threatening to exit the government.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's right-wing religious government will continue to hold a razor-thin majority in parliament despite the exit of Otzma Yehudi with 62 seats.

The premier would lose his majority, however, if Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, who has also vociferously opposed a cease-fire, were to follow suit.

His Religious Zionism party holds seven seats in the Knesset...

Netanyahu 'vows to continue Gaza war' after cabinet OKs truce deal

from PressTV

Benjamin Netanyahu has promised to continue the war on the Gaza Strip in a bid to stop far-right finance minister Bezalel Smotrich from exiting his cabinet, Israel's biggest newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reports.

The report comes as the office of the Israeli prime minister says his cabinet voted to approve a Gaza ceasefire on Saturday after a delay which sparked fears that opposition from his coalition regime's extremist members could halt an agreement.

According to Israeli media reports, Smotrich met Netanyahu before the approval, demanding not only guarantees that Israeli troops would return to the Gaza Strip but that Israel would retain control over the flow of humanitarian aid into the besieged Palestinian enclave.

“Without a full return to war, we will resign,” Smotrich, head of the Religious Zionism party and one of the staunchest opponents to a deal, reportedly said.

He felt like his demands were met following the latest meeting with Netanyahu, Yedioth Ahronoth reported.

The Israeli minister previously released a statement, saying he would only remain in Netanyahu’s cabinet if he promised to resume the war following the six-week first phase of the Gaza ceasefire deal.

Smotrich has been urged by Israel’s extremist security minister and head of the far-right Jewish Power party Itamar Ben-Gvir to support him in thwarting the agreement.

Ben-Gvir has said he will resign if the cabinet approves the ceasefire deal...

Chris Hedges: The Ceasefire Charade

by Chris Hedges from Consortium News

Israel, going back decades, has played a duplicitous game.

It signs a deal with the Palestinians that is to be implemented in phases. The first phase gives Israel what it wants — in this case the release of the Israeli hostages in Gaza — but Israel habitually fails to implement subsequent phases that would lead to a just and equitable peace.

It eventually provokes the Palestinians with indiscriminate armed assaults to retaliate, defines a Palestinian response as a provocation and abrogates the ceasefire deal to reignite the slaughter.

Trump 'Promised Netanyahu He'll Support Israel If They Decide to Violate Ceasefire'

from Information Liberation

Ronen Bergman, a New York Times "journalist" who "formerly" served in Israeli intelligence, is claiming in Ynet that President-elect Donald Trump "has already promised" Benjamin Netanyahu that he will support Israel "retroactively" if they violate a ceasefire with Gaza after signing his peace deal.

From Ynet, "Trump's Promises, and Secret Transformations: 'Going for the Nobel Peace Prize' | Behind the Deal" (as translated from Hebrew by Google):

President Trump, according to a source familiar with the details, has already promised Netanyahu and Minister Ron Dermer that if they agree to a ceasefire and the withdrawal of IDF forces from the Gaza Strip, he will support Israel retroactively if it decides to return to fighting and violate the ceasefire. This may solve one issue for Netanyahu, but it is not certain that it is enough to calm the coalition members from the right-wing, nationalist and settler wing, who may see this as an unacceptable concession. Other sources claim that everything that is happening before the public, including the right-wing opposition, is part of the same orchestrated show. ..

Hamas, 'Israel' officially sign deal, to take effect Monday

from al Mayadeen English

A deal between "Israel" and Hamas to release captives held in Gaza and initiate a ceasefire was formally signed by negotiators in Doha on Thursday, Axios reported, citing two sources familiar with the matter. However, the Israeli government is not expected to vote on the agreement until Saturday night.

The delay in the vote will push back the start of the ceasefire and the release of the first three captives, from Sunday to at least Monday, Israeli officials stated.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was reportedly informed by the negotiating team that the agreement had been reached. His office confirmed this in a statement on Friday morning. Netanyahu has also instructed the captives coordinator to collaborate with the relevant government ministries to prepare for the hostages' release, as per the report.

The deal was signed by representatives from "Israel", Qatar, and Hamas, according to a source informed about the matter as reported by Axios. Brett McGurk, President Biden's top Middle East adviser, signed on behalf of the United States...

Did Trump advise Netanyahu to reject ceasefire to block Harris win?

(Remember when Bush Sr. met with Iranians and got them to agree to not release the hostages so Jimmy Carter would lose the upcoming election?)

from al Mayadeen English

Although no longer in office, former President and current presidential candidate Donald Trump has been discussing "Israel’s"war on Gaza with key figures. However, he is not intending to end the war.

Instead, Trump is reportedly engaging with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to prevent a ceasefire agreement, believing that such a deal could boost Vice President Kamala Harris' chances of winning the November election, The New Republic quoted the PBS reporting.

“The reporting is that former President Trump is on the phone with the Prime Minister of Israel, urging him not to cut a deal right now, because it’s believed that would help the Harris campaign,” said PBS’ Judy Woodruff Monday night.

“So, I don’t know where—who knows whether that will come about or not, but I have to think that the Harris campaign would like for President Biden to do what presidents do, and that’s to work on that one,” Woodruff added.

Both Netanyahu's office and Trump denied the claims.

It wasn’t clear right away whether Woodruff was talking about a new report or referring to an Axios story from last week. That story mentioned two US sources who said that Trump and Netanyahu had discussed a ceasefire and Gaza captive negotiations over the phone...

Netanyahu deliberately trying to sabotage captive deal, Lapid says

from al Mayadeen English

Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid on Sunday went after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for his performance regarding the Gaza ceasefire talks.

A former prime minister himself, Lapid said a premier in pursuit of a ceasefire agreement and the return of captives "does not issue a statement to the media every three hours that makes it difficult for the negotiating  team."

"What Netanyahu has been doing this past day is a deliberate and dangerous act of sabotage of the possibility of reaching a hostage deal. He needs to stop with these unnecessary messages," Lapid added on social media platform X.

According to a statement made by the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas Sunday evening, the movement has "acted with full responsibility" towards mediators in Qatar and Egypt and considered the proposals aimed at reaching an agreement to stop the aggression in Gaza and to conclude a captive agreement...

Netanyahu tries to sabotage Gaza deal with Hamas: Israeli sources

from Daily Sabah

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is accused of attempting to disrupt the ongoing Gaza cease-fire negotiations once again, the country's public broadcaster Kan cited sources from the negotiating team as saying on Tuesday.

This coincided with media leaks about a recent meeting Netanyahu had with representatives of the families of Israeli hostages in Gaza, during which he admitted that he was unsure about the possibility of reaching an agreement with the Palestinians.

"Netanyahu's statements aim to sabotage the negotiations,” the authority reported, citing sources in the Israeli negotiating team.

KAN added that "the prime minister is aware that we are in a critical period, as we are working on finding solutions for the Philadelphia Corridor and the Netzarim Passage and we will present this matter before the next meeting” with the mediators in Cairo, the date of which has not yet been set.

"Netanyahu is making statements that contradict what has been agreed upon with the mediators,” further said the broadcaster...

by Scott Creighton

Prepare yourself for a slew of MSM and fake alt media accounts of how Hamas is standing in the way of a deal in Gaza.

Sec. of State Blinken is telling the world that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has agreed to our 'bridge deal'

'Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accepted the latest U.S. proposal for a cease-fire in Gaza, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Monday' Daily Sabah

While Bibi Netanyahu himself told the families of the hostages still being held in Gaza that there will never be a deal so they should just shut up and get over it I guess.

Hamas, Islamic Jihad claim responsibility for Tel Aviv attack

from PressTV

The Gaza-based Palestinian resistance groups of Hamas and Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility for a deadly bomb blast in Tel Aviv.

In a statement on Monday, the al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’s military wing,  said that it had carried out the operation, in cooperation with the Saraya al-Quds Brigades, the Islamic Jihad’s armed wing, on Sunday evening.

It also warned of "more retaliatory attacks" in the occupied territories, as long as Israel continues its policy of massacre, assassination and displacement of Palestinians.

Earlier, Israeli police said they were “99%” sure that the deadly bomb blast in Tel Aviv was an attempted attack.

Ayalon District Police Commander Haim Bublil made the claim on Monday regarding the explosion that killed a man, in his 50s, and moderately injured a passerby on an electric scooter...
