Hamas to Trump: We Are Ready to Release All Israeli Captives in Comprehensive Ceasefire Deal

(Israel responded by bombing a high-rise in Gaza City, killing 40 more civilians, 7 of whom are children)

(But yeah leftie influencers... keep saying it's Hamas who are the terrorists)

from Drop Site News

Hamas’s political leadership is reaffirming its willingness to make a deal that would see all Israeli captives released immediately in return for a ceasefire agreement that would bring an end to Israel’s genocidal war against the Palestinians of Gaza and a withdrawal of Israeli troops. “The movement reiterates its readiness to enter into a comprehensive deal under which all enemy prisoners held by the resistance will be released in exchange for an agreed-upon number of Palestinian prisoners held by the occupation,” Hamas said in a statement on Wednesday night. The statement added that Hamas has made clear its willingness to relinquish governance of Gaza to pave the way for “an independent national administration of technocrats to manage all Gaza Strip affairs and assume its responsibilities immediately in all areas.”

Hamas’s statement came hours after President Donald Trump posted a message on TruthSocial. “Tell Hamas to IMMEDIATELY give back all 20 Hostages (Not 2 or 5 or 7!), and things will change rapidly. IT WILL END!” Trump wrote.

Israel and the U.S. have both publicly dismissed the fact that, on August 18, Hamas agreed to a 60-day ceasefire deal presented by regional mediator Egypt that featured sweeping concessions from Hamas. The document, obtained by Drop Site, was endorsed by Hamas and a range of other Palestinian political parties and factions. The deal is a slightly modified version of the 13-point framework put forward by Trump’s Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and drafted in coordination with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s top aide, Ron Dermer. That deal would have seen the release of ten living Israeli captives—half the number believed to remain in Gaza—in a 50-day period...

Israel rejects truce deal, threatens to level Gaza City

(This image would be all over the MSM press today and congress would be holding votes to fix the problem RIGHT NOW... were the mother Jewish and the child killed in Glorious Israel. But as it stands, our media and politicians ignore the worst kinds of human suffering... if it's Palestinian mothers crying.)

(That... is... mental... illness... and... depravity.)

(We are a sick nation run by sick people.)

from PressTV

Israel has rejected a new proposal to end its genocidal war on the Gaza Strip under a ceasefire deal with the Hamas resistance group, threatening to flatten Gaza City like other areas in the besieged Palestinian territory.

The Tel Aviv regime dismissed the proposal on Wednesday, hours after Hamas stressed its readiness to enter into a comprehensive deal, under which all Israeli captives would be freed, in exchange for an agreed-upon number of Palestinian abductees.

The resistance group also called for an agreement that stops the Israeli genocide in Gaza, ensures the withdrawal of all occupation forces from the territory, and reopens its crossings.

The Israeli prime minister's office rejected the Hamas statement, saying, "This is more spin by Hamas that has nothing new."

It further said that the Gaza offensive can end immediately “on the conditions set by the [Israeli] cabinet," which include the release of all captives, the disarmament of Hamas, and Tel Aviv’s security control over Gaza.

Similarly, Israeli minister of military affairs Israel Katz warned Hamas to either accept Israel’s conditions or see Gaza City “become like Rafah and Beit Hanoun,” which have been reduced to rubble...

Hamas: Trump repeats Israel narrative, lies and misleads public

from PressTV

A senior Hamas official has condemned US President Donald Trump's remarks about the absence of famine in Gaza.

Izzat al-Rishq stated on Sunday evening that Trump's denial of famine in Gaza is a blatant repetition of Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu's narrative and lies.

"We are surprised by the statements issued by President Trump, which contradict the mediators' assessment of the movement's position and are inconsistent with the negotiations process," Izzat al-Rishq said in a press statement.

Al-Rishq condemned Trump's assertions, emphasizing that they "deny the famine despite the testimony of the United Nations and international organizations, and the deaths of dozens of children from starvation due to the siege and the prevention of food and medicine entry."

He further claimed that Trump's statements inadvertently give the Israeli regime additional justification to pursue its alleged campaign of extermination and starvation against the Palestinian population.

"We call on the US administration to stop exonerating the occupation and providing it with cover to continue its war of extermination and starvation against more than two million people in the Gaza Strip," he added.

Additionally, al-Rishq rejected US claims that Hamas is misappropriating humanitarian aid, labeling them as unfounded and lacking credible evidence.

He said Israel is inciting chaos in Gaza by intentionally targeting police officers who are tasked with protecting aid convoys...

Commander: Israeli public being ‘fed lies’ about progress made against Hamas

from PressTV

A senior Israeli military commander says the Israeli public is being “fed lies” about the progress made against Hamas, warning that the Palestinian resistance movement will not be defeated for years.

In an interview with Ynet published on Friday, the unnamed officer said Hamas still maintains “massive infrastructure” in Gaza and that the fight against the resistance group is far from over.

The commander said dismantling Hamas is a “tedious” task, with the military needing to return to Gaza to “mow the grass” constantly.

“This is work that will need to continue for a year, for five years, to maintain the achievements.”

“It doesn’t matter if the enemy is called Hamas, Islamic Jihad, or any other name,” he added.

“In today’s populist era, the public is being fed lies and spins, just like they were before 7 October and after every round of fighting with Hamas.”...

Netanyahu blocking Gaza talks as mediators seek new solutions

from Daily Sabah

Hamas on Monday criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for deliberately obstructing negotiations aimed at ending the war in Gaza, as a second week of truce talks continued in Qatar.

“Netanyahu is skilled at thwarting one round of negotiations after another, and is unwilling to reach any agreement,” the Palestinian resistance group said in a statement shared on its Telegram channel.

The criticism came as mediators intensified efforts to break the deadlock, with an official familiar with the talks telling AFP that new approaches were being explored to bridge the gaps.

“Mediators are actively exploring innovative mechanisms to help bridge the remaining gaps and maintain momentum in the negotiations,” the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the discussions.

On Saturday, two sources said Israel’s proposals to keep troops in the Gaza Strip are holding up the indirect talks between Hamas and Israel for a cease-fire...

“The Deception Game”: Trump Is Scrambling to Make a Gaza Deal on Israel’s Terms

from Drop Site News

President Donald Trump has portrayed a new Gaza ceasefire deal as a near certainty, claiming it could be signed as early as this week. “We gotta get that solved. Gaza is—it’s a tragedy and [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu] wants to get it solved, and I want to get it solved, and I think the other side wants to get it solved,” Trump said Tuesday. “A lot of hate, long-term hate, but we think we’re going to have it solved pretty soon—hopefully with a real solution, a solution that’s going to be holding up.”

The indirect proximity talks underway in Doha may lead to an agreement on a ceasefire framework, particularly if Trump decides he wants a deal and is willing to force Netanyahu to make concessions. But a Hamas official with direct knowledge of the negotiations in Qatar told Drop Site Wednesday morning that, since Sunday, the U.S. and Israel have engaged in a “deception game,” one aimed at strong-arming Hamas into signing an agreement that would not end the genocide; permit Israeli forces to remain deeply entrenched in the enclave; and keep Israel in effective control of whether—and under what conditions— food, medicine, and other life essentials are allowed to enter Gaza.

The Hamas official said the Islamic resistance movement will not compromise on a core set of “red lines” it has established for any ceasefire: that there will be a full withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces and that the UN, not Israel, will control humanitarian aid going into Gaza—administered on the terms of the original January 19 ceasefire deal that Israel unilaterally abandoned. Hamas also wants stronger language stating that Trump would guarantee that Israel maintains a ceasefire after an initial 60-day truce and exchange of captives to negotiate an end to the war...

Israelis protest for Gaza ceasefire as 78 Palestinians killed

(Meanwhile:  Ben-Gvir calls on Netanyahu to ‘abandon path of surrender’ with Gaza ceasefire )

from al Jazeera

  • Sources in Gaza hospitals say 78 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli bombings today, at least 9 of them near Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) aid hub in the north of Rafah, including three children.
  • At least 743 Palestinians have died in Israeli attacks at the notorious GHF distribution centres, as Israeli forces continue to target people waiting for food and hospitals struggle to cope with the wounded.
  • Hamas says it is ready to start talks “immediately” on a proposal for a 60-day ceasefire, which will allow the desperately needed aid for Gaza.
  • Hamas ally Islamic Jihad says it supports plans for talks on a truce with Israel, but demanded “guarantees” that the process would lead to a permanent ceasefire.
  • The announcement came after it held consultations with other Palestinian factions and before a visit on Monday by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Washington, where President Donald Trump is pushing for an end to the war, now in its 21st month

Hamas says responded in ‘positive spirit’ to Gaza ceasefire proposal

    from PressTV

Palestinian resistance group Hamas says it has responded in “a positive spirit” to the Gaza ceasefire proposal and is prepared to enter talks about implementing the agreement, which includes the exchange of captives and negotiations to end the Israeli regime’s genocidal war on Gaza.

The Gaza-based group announced in a statement on Saturday that it had completed its internal deliberations as well as consultations with other Palestinian resistance groups regarding the latest proposal to halt the Israeli aggression against Gaza.

“The movement [Hamas] has delivered its response to the brotherly mediators, which was characterized by a positive spirit. Hamas is fully prepared, with all seriousness, to immediately enter a new round of negotiations on the mechanism for implementing this framework,” read the statement.

The agreement would include a 60-day ceasefire with a phased release of Israeli captives by Hamas in return for the entrance of increased humanitarian aid to the besieged territory...

Hamas issues 10-day ultimatum to Daesh-linked group leader to surrender over ties to Israel

    from PressTV

The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has given Yasser Jihad Abu Shabab, leader of a Daesh-linked group, 10 days to surrender to authorities, waning he will be tried in absentia if he fails to comply.

Abu Shabab faces charges of treason, armed rebellion, and forming an armed gang.

Palestinian and international reports have described the group as a "militia" cooperating with Israeli forces, particularly in areas of Israeli military control east of Rafah near the Karam Abu Salem crossing.

Hamas’ armed wing, the Qassam Brigades, has slammed Abu Shabab for leading a network of collaborators recruited by Israel to sow chaos in the Gaza Strip.

This marks the first such public move by Hamas since Israel began its genocidal war on Gaza 21 months ago.

The Revolutionary Court, part of Gaza’s military judiciary, emphasized the severity of the charges and urged the public to report his whereabouts.

Local sources say Abu Shabab is hiding near eastern Rafah. This follows Israeli prime minister Netanyahu’s recent admission of arming militants in Gaza to counter Hamas...

Targeting Gazan carrying flour ‘heinous crime by fascist Israeli army’, says Hamas

    from PressTV

The Palestinian Hamas resistance movement has vehemently denounced the Israeli military’s targeting of an ordinary citizen carrying a sack of flour on his back in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood of Gaza City as a “sadistic and brutal act.”

“These scenes document a moment from a heinous crime committed daily by the fascist occupation army, which targets starving people searching for food, amid a suffocating blockade and systematic starvation imposed by the war criminal Netanyahu’s government for nearly four months,” the Gaza-based group said in a statement released on Sunday.

The movement highlighted that the footage of the drone strike aired by the Al Jazeera television news channel exposed “a sadistic and brutal act by a criminal army stripped of all ethics or humanity, with no regard for values or laws.”

It went on to state that Israeli occupation forces have consistently taken the lives of innocent Palestinian children, women, and the elderly ever since the Zionist entity was created on May 14, 1948, and the troops have perpetrated the most egregious violations of human rights.

Hamas emphasized that the ongoing and unparalleled atrocities, which involve the systematic targeting of starving civilians and the relentless massacres against civilians across the Gaza Strip, necessitate that the international community, its institutions, and the collective human conscience take decisive action to halt these actions and bring the fascist offenders to justice in international courts...

Palestinian factions warn of renewed Nakba amid Israeli aggression

    from al Mayadeen English

On the 77th anniversary of the Nakba, Palestinian factions declared that the Palestinian people are facing a renewed Nakba amid the genocidal war waged by the Israeli occupation against the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. They emphasized that national unity and steadfast resistance remain the only path to thwart displacement and liquidation plans.

In a statement, Hamas affirmed that the unity between the Palestinian people and their resistance has already derailed numerous Israeli projects, stressing, “No new Nakba will be imposed, and Gaza’s steadfastness will not be broken.”

The movement reiterated that “the occupation has no legitimacy over any part of Palestine,” and pledged that resistance “will continue until liberation and return.”

Hamas also called for unified Palestinian ranks and a shared national strategy of struggle, rejecting any efforts to dismantle UNRWA or erase the refugee cause. It reaffirmed its commitment to the right of return and condemned all normalization projects...

Hamas open to 5-year truce, one-time hostages release in Gaza

    from Daily Sabah

Hamas could agree to a deal to end the Gaza war and see all hostages released and secure a five-year truce, an official said Saturday ahead of talks with mediators in Cairo.

A Hamas delegation was in Cairo to discuss with Egyptian mediators ways out of the 18-month war, as on the ground rescuers said an Israeli strike on a family home in Gaza City killed at least 10 people and left more feared buried under the rubble.

The Hamas official, speaking to Agence France-Presse (AFP) on condition of anonymity, said the Palestinian group "is ready for an exchange of prisoners in a single batch and a truce for five years".

The latest bid to seal a cease-fire follows an Israeli proposal which Hamas had rejected earlier this month as "partial", calling instead for a "comprehensive" agreement to halt the war ignited by the group's October 7, 2023 attack on Israel.

The Israeli offer included a 45-day cease-fire in exchange for the return of 10 living hostages.

Hamas has consistently demanded that a truce deal must lead to an end to the war, a full Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip and a surge in humanitarian aid into the besieged territory – where on Friday the United Nations warned food stocks were running out...

Bernie Sanders Promoting Zionist Propaganda about Hamas in Support of Ethnic Cleansing in Gaza

    by Scott Creighton

UPDATE: RFK Jr. says we should stop paying for medical care for folks who are fat and smoke. He says we should not pay for their bad choices. He mentions nothing about alcoholics and long term drug addicts... why? Because RFK Jr. was a raving alcoholic and heroin addict for over 15 years. He also cheated on his wife and kept a diary of his conquests in a little red book while he was married... with kids.

UPDATE 2: Mr. Anti-vaxxer and Covid-19 mRNA skeptic, RFK Jr., has allowed the FDA under his control to FAST-TRACK a new SELF REPLICATING mRNA H5N1 'vaccine' from Arcturus Therapeutics.

    ---

I detest Bernie Sanders. These days he is steadily running around promoting prove fake leftie, AOC, for a run in 2028 as some kind of fake resistance candidate like Barack Obama was in 2008. I hate what Sanders does tacitly supporting regime change ops by pretending to oppose the slaughter of masses of people but then adding 'yeah but (fill in the blank) is an 'ebil dictator who kills his own people'

That is the message he is preaching right now to all the lefties coming out to see him in his Oligarchy Tour about Hamas. He is a fucking liar and is pure unadulterated poison to the resistance and solidarity movements in this country.

'Since October 7, 2023—and ramping up in the previous weeks since Trump’s reelection—Sanders has been rehabilitating the image of the Israeli occupation by attributing its genocidal war crimes and crimes against humanity solely to Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu.

Sanders insists that Netanyahu’s “right-wing government” is responsible for the genocide, while stopping short of naming the Israeli occupation itself as the main culprit.

In speeches and online statements, Sanders never condemns the occupation and apartheid—and only mentions Netanyahu. Time and time again, he has refrained from commenting on decades of Israeli war crimes against Palestinians both in the Gaza Strip and occupied West Bank and only raises Netanyahu as a talking point.' Resistance leader details Gaza proposal, Hamas’ stance

    from al Mayadeen English

A Palestinian Resistance leader speaking to Al Mayadeen outlined on Monday the key points of the latest Israeli proposal, which includes the redeployment of Israeli occupation forces to positions held before March 2, a 45-day term for halting military operations, the opening of crossings, and the entry of humanitarian aid—but all under Israeli-imposed conditions.

He detailed that the proposal also involves the release of nine captives, including Israeli-American soldier Edan Alexander. However, the proposal fails to meet Hamas’ core demands of a permanent ceasefire and a complete Israeli withdrawal from Gaza, he added.

The leader further warned that the plan appears designed to gradually strip Hamas of its leverage by extracting captives without securing meaningful concessions.

He further told Al Mayadeen that the Israeli proposal seeks to disarm Hamas and ensure it does not return to power in Gaza.

The plan also outlines a second phase of negotiations, which would address key issues including a permanent ceasefire, full Israeli withdrawal, the dismantling of Hamas’ military capabilities, and the future governance of Gaza. In conclusion, the leader told Al Mayadeen that Hamas has not yet responded to the Israeli proposal but is currently studying it.

Hamas is Not a Terror Organization and Why That Is Important

Hamas is a political party based on resistance to their occupying power, the IDF. Occupied people have a right to resist their occupiers, even by force. By claiming Hamas is a terrorist organization you give Israel a free hand in demanding the continuation of the genocide and ethnic cleansing of Gaza as they seek to remove the 'terrorists'

Hamas hails Microsoft employee for exposing company’s IA support for Gaza genocide

    from PressTV

The Palestinian Hamas resistance movement has expressed admiration for a Microsoft employee’s daring interruption during the tech giant’s 50th-anniversary celebration, where she called out the company’s AI support for the Israeli military's genocidal war in the Gaza Strip.

“Hamas highly commends the heroic stance of engineer Ibtihal Aboussad, who courageously and at great sacrifice exposed the complicity of major global technology companies with the Zionist regime’s killing machine in an exceptional manner,” the group said in a statement on Saturday.

Various reports have indicated that tech companies, including Microsoft, have provided the Israeli occupation forces with artificial intelligence tools employed in the ongoing massacre of Palestinians in Gaza, where close to 50,700 Palestinians have been killed.

It appealed to all employees and personnel of companies with a relationship with the Israeli military to follow suit and adopt a position similar to that of Aboussad.

“We also demand the UN, the international community, and rights groups to document all forms of technological complicity with the occupying Israeli regime’s crimes, prosecute these companies before international courts, and impose immediate sanctions on them for violating laws and human ethics,” Hamas stated...

What's the truth behind the "anti-Hamas" protest in Gaza? with Ali Abunimah

    from Electronic Intifada

    The Gaza Bombshell

    from Vanity Fair (2008)

After failing to anticipate Hamas’s victory over Fatah in the 2006 Palestinian election, the White House cooked up yet another scandalously covert and self-defeating Middle East debacle: part Iran-contra, part Bay of Pigs. With confidential documents, corroborated by outraged former and current U.S. officials, the author reveals how President Bush, Condoleezza Rice, and Deputy National-Security Adviser Elliott Abrams backed an armed force under Fatah strongman Muhammad Dahlan, touching off a bloody civil war in Gaza and leaving Hamas stronger than ever...
