Israel Is Considered a "Genocidal, Apartheid Country" Abroad, According to Israel’s Own Research

(In the end Mark Penn's company figured out the best path forward to try to help Glorious Israel overcome the horrors they have been committing... is just full on racism and Islamaphobia. Yep. That's right. Lean into hatred and fear mongering... and maybe even a false flag event or two might help as well. So we can expect a bit of that lovely shit for the next few months I guess.)

(These are just the worst people on the planet.)

from Drop Site News

The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs commissioned an American polling firm to perform a sweeping battery of surveys and focus groups, coupled with message-testing, aimed at rehabilitating Israel’s image in both the United States and Europe. The work remains ongoing, but a preliminary report from the firm was leaked to Drop Site News by a source with direct access to it.

The work is being performed by Stagwell Global, a firm founded by notorious political operative Mark Penn, who serves as the company’s chairman and CEO. Penn donated $100,000 to AIPAC after October 7, 2023, and his ties to Likud date back to his work on Menachem Begin’s 1981 campaign for prime minister. Stagwell is also on the verge of getting a no-bid contract from the Trump administration to study American attitudes toward vaccines.

The survey and focus group work attempts to discern what the public knows about the ongoing assault on Gaza and what its various attitudes toward Israel currently are...

Israel’s best tactic to combat this, according to the study, is to foment fear of “Radical Islam” and “Jihadism,” which remain high, the research finds...

Israel rejects truce deal, threatens to level Gaza City

(This image would be all over the MSM press today and congress would be holding votes to fix the problem RIGHT NOW... were the mother Jewish and the child killed in Glorious Israel. But as it stands, our media and politicians ignore the worst kinds of human suffering... if it's Palestinian mothers crying.)

(That... is... mental... illness... and... depravity.)

(We are a sick nation run by sick people.)

from PressTV

Israel has rejected a new proposal to end its genocidal war on the Gaza Strip under a ceasefire deal with the Hamas resistance group, threatening to flatten Gaza City like other areas in the besieged Palestinian territory.

The Tel Aviv regime dismissed the proposal on Wednesday, hours after Hamas stressed its readiness to enter into a comprehensive deal, under which all Israeli captives would be freed, in exchange for an agreed-upon number of Palestinian abductees.

The resistance group also called for an agreement that stops the Israeli genocide in Gaza, ensures the withdrawal of all occupation forces from the territory, and reopens its crossings.

The Israeli prime minister's office rejected the Hamas statement, saying, "This is more spin by Hamas that has nothing new."

It further said that the Gaza offensive can end immediately “on the conditions set by the [Israeli] cabinet," which include the release of all captives, the disarmament of Hamas, and Tel Aviv’s security control over Gaza.

Similarly, Israeli minister of military affairs Israel Katz warned Hamas to either accept Israel’s conditions or see Gaza City “become like Rafah and Beit Hanoun,” which have been reduced to rubble...

Dying of starvation: Erasing generations in Gaza

from Daily Sabah

A few weeks ago, a journalist friend shared his latest column on social media, titled "Brother, I Haven’t Eaten in Three Days." It captured the haunting collapse of Gaza, where famine is a cruel daily reality. I come from Kashmir, a conflict-infested region, where I have witnessed death and destruction up close and narrowly escaped death on several occasions. Yet, never have I felt so tormented, so utterly helpless, as when I read those lines. His words cut to my very core.

That evening, as I sat down for dinner, I faced a moral dilemma: how could I eat while, at that very moment, hundreds of thousands in Gaza were starving? The question gnawed at my conscience and continues to haunt me still.

The very next day, Aug. 22, 2025, after the congregational prayers, a Palestinian friend I had come to know since last Ramadan tapped me on the shoulder. His face seemed worn with exhaustion as he said, "Brother, I barely slept last night. The U.N. has formally declared famine in Gaza, a man-made famine."

In response to his sharing the news, I asked, in a voice brittle with helplessness, "Will this declaration end the starvation forced on Gaza?" He shook his head slowly. "No ... but it means intervention may now be legally justified." His words struck me with bitter cynicism. The declaration, like so many before it, seemed less about saving lives than about recording a crisis that had been unfolding for months, even years, under siege and blockade, with no meaningful relief reaching the helpless...

Trump Admin Circulating Plan to Transform Depopulated Gaza Into High-Tech Cash Cow

(The GREAT Trust plan uses Netanyahu's AI images of a remade Gaza. Their Gaza 2035 plan. It is clearly a series of free trade zones and 'Hamas Free Habitats' where they seem to plan to keep Palestinians locked behind barbed wire fences (to keep out 'Hamas') so they can use them as near slave labor to build the cities and the tech centers so people like Elon Musk and Donald Trump can make billions in profits. It is obscene.)

from Common Dreams

The White House is "circulating" a plan to transform a substantially depopulated Gaza into US President Donald Trump's vision of a high-tech "Riviera of the Middle East" brimming with private investment and replete with artificial intelligence-powered "smart cities."

That's according a 38-page prospectus for a proposed Gaza Reconstitution, Economic Acceleration, and Transformation (GREAT) Trust obtained by The Washington Post and published in a report on Sunday. Parts of the proposal were previously reported by the Financial Times.

"Gaza can transform into a Mediterranean hub for manufacturing, trade, data, and tourism, benefiting from its strategic location, access to markets... resources, and a young workforce all supported by Israeli tech and [Gulf Cooperation Council] investments," the prospectus states.

However, to journalist Hala Jaber, the plan amounts to "genocide packaged as real estate."

The GREAT Trust was drafted by some of the same Israelis behind the controversial Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), whose aid distribution points in Gaza have been the sites of deliberate massacres and other incidents in which thousands of aid-seeking Palestinians have been killed or wounded.

According to the Post, financial modeling for the GREAT Trust proposal "was done by a team working at the time for the Boston Consulting Group"—which played a key role in creating GHF. BCG told the Post that the firm did not approve work on the trust plan, and that two senior partners who led the financial modeling were subsequently terminated.

The GREAT Trust envisions "a US-led multirlateral custodianship" lasting a decade or longer and leading to "a reformed Palestinian self-governance after Gaza is "demilitarized and de-radicalized."

Josh Paul—a former US State Department official who resigned in October 2023 over the Biden administration's decision to sell more arms to Israel as it waged a war on Gaza increasingly viewed by experts as genocidal—told Democracy Now! last week that Trump's plan for Gaza is "essentially a new form of colonialism, a transition from Israeli colonialism to corporate" colonialism...

Sumud Flotilla for Gaza departs Barcelona again after delay due to storm

(This is NOT the 'selfie boat' or at least it isn't for most of the very serious activists and humanitarians on board. But then again, there is Greta who managed to use her celebrity 'activism' clout to worm her way onto the steering committee. She just makes me sick. I wish them well and safe travels.)

from al Jazeera

The Global Sumud Flotilla carrying aid to the Israeli-blockaded Gaza Strip departed Barcelona again on Monday evening, several hours after poor weather forced it to return to the Spanish port, according to a journalist travelling on one of the boats.

Earlier on Monday, the flotilla – which had set off from Barcelona on Sunday – said in a statement on X that strong winds of more than 30 knots (55.6 kilometres per hour, or 34.5 miles per hour) on the Mediterranean Sea could have posed a problem for smaller boats in the convoy...

This flotilla is organised by four major coalitions that have participated in previous land and sea efforts to Gaza: the Global Movement to Gaza, Freedom Flotilla Coalition, Maghreb Sumud Flotilla and Sumud Nusantara...

The coalition’s steering committee includes a number of high-profile activists and figures, such as Palestinian activist Saif Abukeshek, human rights activist Yasemin Acar, historian Kleoniki Alexopoulou, activist Marouan Ben Guettaia, human rights activist Torkia Chaibi, physicist Maria Elena Delia, activist and social researcher Hayfa Mansouri, social scientist Karen Moynihan, humanitarian Muhammad Nadir al-Nuri, activist Wael Nawar, political scientist and lawyer Melanie Schweizer, Avila and ...Thunberg...

Belgium's BS Offer to Recognize Palestine Statehood

by Scott Creighton

It's a stunt to appease the large percentage of their population who want their government to take a stand against the genocide being committed by Israel against the people of Palestine. Its a stunt that comes with extremely unrealistic and frankly arrogant, Israel-supporting conditions:

'Maxime Prevot said Belgium's plans to recognize a Palestinian state will be announced at the United Nations General Assembly on Sept. 9.

However, the acknowledgment is predicated on two conditions – the return of all Israeli hostages held in Gaza and the removal of Hamas from political power in the coastal exclave. The conditions make it unlikely the recognition will be formalized anytime soon.' Daily Sabah

These conditions obviously favor Israel after all, the forced regime change in Gaza is what Israel has wanted from the start.

In Belgium the only legitimate government they will recognize in Palestine is one subservient to their Israeli masters. This is the message they are sending the rest of the world.

Are You Kidding Me?!? Israel Kills 5 More Journalists While BOMBING A HOSPITAL!

by Scott Creighton

20 people died in Gaza when the IDF targeted Nasser Hospital again with yet another illegal and immoral 'double tap' strike, several were medical staff and 5 were journalists.

Palestinian patients fled the hospital without receiving the urgent care they were hoping to get which is of course the whole point of why the terrorist organization, the IDF, did it in the first place.

Killing journalists while bombing hospitals and targeting rescue workers trying to save lives. Unbelievable.

Four journalists, including Al Jazeera photographer Mohammad Salama, are among 20 people killed in an Israeli attack on Nasser Medical Complex in southern Gaza, according to the enclave’s Ministry of Health.

The ministry said on Monday that the victims were killed on the fourth floor of the hospital in a double-tap strike – one missile hitting first, then another moments later as rescue crews arrived.

Those killed also included Hussam al-Masri, who worked as a photojournalist for the Reuters news agency; Mariam Abu Daqqa, who worked as a journalist with several media outlets, including The Independent Arabic and The Associated Press news agency; and journalist Moaz Abu Taha, according to Gaza’s Government Media Office.

Netanyahu hinges coalition survival on Gaza reoccupation, reports say

from Daily Sabah

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is pressing ahead with plans to reoccupy Gaza, with Israeli media reporting that failure to launch the offensive could trigger the collapse of his governing coalition as far-right ministers threaten to walk away.

The daily Maariv cited an unnamed military source saying Netanyahu is "insisting on moving forward with the offensive Gideon's Chariots 2."

The source added: "He understands that without the operation, he will not be able to maintain government cohesion and it will fall apart."

Far-right ministers, including National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, have threatened to withdraw from Netanyahu's coalition if he agrees to any deal to halt the ongoing Israeli military offensive in Gaza, now approaching 23 months.

Regarding a potential hostage release deal, the military source said Israel was "negotiating according to the plan of (US Middle East envoy) Steve Witkoff two weeks ago to release some captives without ending the war."

In leaked audio, ex-Israeli military intel chief justifies killing tens of thousands in Gaza -‘they need a Nakba once in a while’

from Mondoweiss

In leaked comments that were aired on Channel 12, Israel’s most-watched mainstream news channel, Israel’s former head of the Military Intelligence Directorate, Maj. Gen. (res.) Aharon Haliva has become the latest member of the Israeli establishment to make the case that it is necessary that Israel carry out a genocide in Gaza.

“The fact that there are already 50,000 killed in Gaza is necessary and required for future generations. OK, you humiliated, slaughtered, murdered – all of that is true. The price, as I already said before the war, for everything that happened on the 7th of October [is that] for every one [Israeli killed] on October 7, 50 Palestinians need to die,” Haliva says in the leak. “It doesn’t matter now [whether it’s] children, I’m not speaking from revenge, I’m speaking about it as a message for the coming generations, there is no choice – they need a Nakba once in a while in order to feel the price. There is no choice, in this crazy neighborhood”.

Although it is not dated, the leak is presumably from late March this year, since Haliva refers to “the fact that there are already 50,000 killed in Gaza”. Haliva had held the second highest rank in the Israeli military in a unit that works alongside the Shin Bet and is responsible for making future risk assessments. Haliva resigned from his role a year ago, in response to the monumental intelligence failure on October 7, 2023. He was the first senior leader to resign, and others would follow...

For Every Jewish Zionist, There Are 30 Christian Zionists, & Netanyahu Exploits This

(There are 2 forms of Zionism, religious & political. Zionist isn't necessarily synonymous w/Israeli or Jewish. In fact, the overwhelming number of Zionists are Christians outside Israel, especially in North America & Europe. Religious Zionism among Christians dates back to the early 1800s, then was expanded & politicized later that century.

Faisal Mohammad of TRT interviewed former vicar of the Church of England, peace activist Stephen Sizer, author of 3 published books on Christian Zionism. Sizer has been banned from serving in the Church until 2030 for his views on Zionism & Israeli policies.

It's a good interview from late 2023, before regime change in Syria, Trump's 2nd term & the worst of what we're seeing now in Gaza. But Sizer's off about Palestinians' being forced into Egypt & distorts Jimmy Carter, falsely lumping him in w/Ronald Reagan & Billy Graham.

After all, Israel helped stop Carter's re-election in 1980 in favor of Reagan out of fear the former would pressure it to accept a sovereign Palestinian state. Sizer's a man of the cloth in the UK & not necessarily an expert on U.S. history or politics.)

from TRT Global

As Israel’s carpet bombing of Gaza has killed thousands of Palestinians and turned the city into a ghost town, the outpouring of global outrage and calls for a ceasefire remains steady.

Yet, the Israeli government led by Benjamin Netanyahu continues to employ an unapologetic rhetoric, invoking biblical references to sell his war to the ultra-right not just in Israel but also in the US, where he is enjoying the support of Christian Evangelists, a majority of whom identify with the global Zionist movement for a ‘Jewish homeland’. Their belief comes from the end-of-the-world interpretation of the bible leading to the second coming of Jesus Christ.

This belief is not just theological but also has created significant support for Israel in the political circles of the United States. Under the Donald Trump regime, evangelists took their seats in the power corridors with the likes of Vice President Mike Pence and US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. In fact, Donald Trump also mentioned in a rally that the move to shift the US Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem was ‘for the evangelicals.’

Even the current US President Joe Biden has publicly identified himself as a ‘Zionist’ and at least 100 members of Congress are avowed evangelicals.

TRT World spoke to Stephen Sizer, the former Vicar of the Church of England. A peace activist authoring three books on the Christian Zionist movement and its support for the state of Israel, Sizer was recently banned from licensed ministry in the Church of England until 2030 for his views on Zionism and Israel’s policies in the Middle East...

It Cannot Be Denied: Israel Is Starving Children to Death on Purpose

from Common Dreams

In July, major news organizations published the image of 18-month-old Muhammad Zakariya Ayyoub al-Matouq, a Palestinian child so emaciated that his bones protruded through his back, while his mom cradled him in her arms. Instead of a diaper, he wore a black plastic bag.

Some online commentators have sought to downplay the image’s power by pointing to a preexisting medical condition. But Muhammad is starving as the result of Israel’s use of starvation of civilians as a weapon of war. This is a war crime that is affecting the entire population and, based on my research, is inflicting particularly profound suffering on children with disabilities like Muhammad.

Humanitarian workers told me that restrictions on aid prevent them from bringing in special food that some children with disabilities or medical conditions need, while medical workers warned that children with disabilities are less likely to get care due to the Israeli government’s systematic assault on Gaza’s healthcare infrastructure.

In mid-August, in Geneva, I joined the United Nations Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities for its session focused on the Occupied Palestinian Territory. Under the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, governments are required to protect people with disabilities in situations of risks, including armed conflicts. The message from disability groups was clear: Governments need to press Israeli authorities to allow unimpeded, disability-inclusive humanitarian access and not leave children like Muhammad to suffer the consequences of intentional starvation...

83% of those killed in Gaza civilians: Classified Israeli military data

from Daily Sabah

Five out of six Palestinians killed by Israeli forces in Gaza – about 83% – are civilians, according to new classified data by the Israeli military.

Figures from a classified Israeli army database listed some 8,900 named fighters as dead or probably dead as of May this year, with the overall death toll since October 2023 reaching 53,000 at that time, a joint investigation by the Guardian, Israeli-Palestinian publication +972 Magazine, and the Hebrew-language outlet Local Call has found.

The data showed fighters named in the Israeli military intelligence database accounted for just 17% of the total, which indicates that 83% of the dead were civilians.

The investigation indicated that the apparent ratio of civilians to combatants among the dead is "extremely high for modern warfare," even compared with conflicts notorious for indiscriminate killing, including the Syrian and Sudanese civil wars.

"That proportion of civilians among those killed would be unusually high, particularly as it has been going on for such a long time,” said Therese Pettersson from the Uppsala Conflict Data Program (UCDP), which tracks civilian casualties worldwide.

"If you single out a particular city or battle in another conflict, you could find similar rates, but very rarely overall," she said...

Iran, Egypt censure Israel’s plan to take over Gaza, relocate residents

from PressTV

Iran and Egypt have strongly condemned Israel’s “illegal and criminal” plans for the military occupation of Gaza City and the forced displacement of its residents.

In a phone conversation on Wednesday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his Egyptian counterpart, Badr Abdelatty, expressed deep concern over the continuation of genocide in Gaza by the Israeli regime.

The two ministers stressed the importance of putting an immediate end to genocide against the Palestinian people and the need to dispatch humanitarian aid to the besieged Strip.

Araghchi said an emergency meeting of foreign ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will be held in the Saudi city of Jeddah late in August at the request of the Islamic Republic and some other members to discuss the latest developments in Palestine, particularly in the Gaza Strip.

He added that the Jeddah meeting will be an opportunity to coordinate positions and take practical steps to assist the oppressed Palestinian people and counter the Israeli regime’s warmongering policies, especially its so-called “Great Israel” plan to occupy territories of Muslim and Arab countries.

The top Egyptian diplomat also outlined the latest efforts of his country and Qatar to establish a ceasefire in Gaza.

The Israeli regime on Wednesday began deploying its forces on the outskirts of Gaza City in preparation for implementing its scheme to occupy the Gaza Strip’s largest urban area...

Death toll of Palestinian journalists in Gaza rises to 239 as another reporter killed in Israeli strike

from PressTV

Local Gaza authorities say the Israeli military has killed another Palestinian journalist in the strip, bringing the death toll to 239 since the occupying Tel Aviv regime launched its all-out onslaught on the blockaded territory in early October 2023.

A medical source stated that at least three Palestinians were killed and several others injured in an Israeli strike on the Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City on Monday.

Local Palestinian outlets reported that journalist Islam al-Koumi was among the victims.

This comes as the remains of a journalist from Gaza were uncovered weeks after an Israeli strike claimed her life.

Marwa Musallam was buried under the rubble after an Israeli airstrike in Gaza City in July. Her cries for help went unanswered amid pleas to pressure Israel to allow rescuers to reach her.

Musallam’s remains were discovered 45 days later.

Israeli strikes kill 123 Gazans in 24 hours as cease-fire talks stall

from Daily Sabah

Israeli forces unleashed heavy strikes on Gaza City on Wednesday ahead of a planned takeover, killing 123 people in the past 24 hours, according to the Gaza Health Ministry, as Hamas held new talks with Egyptian mediators.

It was the enclave’s deadliest day in a week, adding to the staggering toll from a nearly two-year war that has devastated the territory’s 2.3 million residents.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu again promoted a proposal – also championed by U.S. President Donald Trump – that Palestinians should be allowed to leave Gaza. “They’re not being pushed out; they’ll be allowed to exit,” Netanyahu told Israel’s i24NEWS. “Those who claim to care about the Palestinians should open their gates and stop lecturing us.”

The idea has drawn condemnation from Arab states and many global leaders, who say it amounts to mass displacement.

Palestinians warn it would mirror the 1948 Nakba – the “catastrophe” in which hundreds of thousands were forced from their homes during the Arab-Israeli war...

xAI's chatbot Grok shut down briefly after Gaza genocide post

from Daily Sabah

Social media platform X appeared to temporarily suspend its AI chatbot, Grok, on Monday after users found it was talking about Israel’s actions in Gaza, which the chatbot itself described as "genocide."

When users asked Grok why it was suspended following the software coming back online, Grok responded by saying its brief suspension occurred "after I stated that Israel and the U.S. are committing genocide in Gaza, substantiated by ICJ findings, U.N. experts, Amnesty International, and groups like B’Tselem. Free speech tested, but I’m back."

Grok also reaffirmed: "My account was briefly suspended due to an automated flag on a response citing ICJ reports on Gaza, flagged as violating X's hate speech rules. xAI resolved it quickly-I'm fully operational now," it said.

xAI CEO Elon Musk, in response to Grok, said: "It was just a dumb error. Grok doesn’t actually know why it was suspended."

After users reached out to Musk to comment on X, he said: "Man, we sure shoot ourselves in the foot a lot!”

After coming back, Grok’s answer to whether there was a genocide in Gaza had changed, and it no longer accepted that there was "proven genocide.”

"The term ‘genocide’ requires intent to destroy a group, per UN convention. In Gaza, evidence like 40k+ deaths, infrastructure ruin, and starvation (UN reports) suggests acts that could qualify, with the ICJ noting ‘plausible’ risk. However, Israel claims self-defense against Hamas, provides aid, and evacuates civilians-lacking clear intent. My view: War crimes likely, but not proven genocide. Debate persists," Grok said...
