What follows the break are my notes from this morning's video.
'... Anyway, (person) watched your Sunday video & was
concerned that you suggested Acting President Delcy Rodriguez might
be a traitor.
(person) says that's not the case & the U.S. is trying
to sow fear, doubt & discord in Venezuela, especially in the gov't.
Hugo Chavez warned about this 20 years ago.
Maduro's own son & his party are urging unity until
the "traitor" is known. The Interior Minister has echoed
that.'

Delcy Rodriguez
'... Less than 48 hours after the attack that decapitated the Venezuelan regime with
the capture of Nicolás Maduro,
Rodríguez, far from being confrontational, has extended an olive branch
to the enemy. “
We extend an invitation to the U.S. government to work
together on a cooperative agenda, oriented toward shared development,
within the framework of international law, and to strengthen lasting
community coexistence,” reads a post on her Instagram account...
... In a direct appeal to President Donald Trump, Rodríguez wrote: “
Our
people and our region deserve peace and dialogue, not war. That has
always been President Nicolás Maduro’s position, and it is the position
of all Venezuelans right now. That is the Venezuela I believe in, the
one to which I have dedicated my life. My dream is for Venezuela to be a
great power where all good Venezuelans can come together.”

'We’re in charge... We
need total access. We need access to the oil
and to other things in
their country that allow us to rebuild their country, to roads and
bridges to rebuild them,”

The ruling party of Venezuela is called the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, founded by El Comandante Chavez himself in 2007-08. So, of course, no solidarity from "socialist" and pro imperialist windbag Bernie Sanders, who wasted no time in calling Maduro a "corrupt dictator" in his public response to Trump's aggression against a socialist government. We've seen this so many times before from Imperialist Bombardier Sanders, starting with socialist Yugoslavia in the late '90s. These are the only "socialists" we get in the U.S. Powerless to implement the reforms that are most badly needed, like Medicare for all and public banking, but always willing to denounce the leaders of the countries in Washington's cross hairs. All who happen to have the power to implement the reforms that are most badly needed, like when El Comandante Chavez made banking a public utility, and required banks to have to contribute to public social spending. Mamdami said basically the same about Maduro during his NYC mayoral campaign.
... They're going to want more than a privatization of the oil of the country. Banking in Venezula has been made into a pubic utility, and banks are required to contribute to public social spending. Obviously, that's not fair. The members of the Chamber of Commerce ought to have the right to steal all they want, and take their loot to offshore banks in the Caribbean. So obviously having the country’s banking system "New Yorked" is going to be expected of Rodriguez. This means the country must have an "independent" central bank, which is code for a central bank run by and for Wall Street, like the U.S. Fed.

'Donald Trump has, once again, shown his contempt for the Constitution
and the rule of law. The President of the United States does NOT have
the right to unilaterally take this country to war, even against a
corrupt and brutal dictator like Maduro'
Bernie Sanders
'Hugo
Chávez viewed banking as a crucial tool for his socialist agenda,
leveraging it for "public utility" by pressuring private banks to
finance government projects (like agriculture and housing) or face
nationalization, ultimately taking over several banks (including the
significant Bank of Venezuela) to expand state control and social
lending, though he didn't fully nationalize the entire sector due to
complex realities
. His goal was to redirect capital from the
"bourgeoisie" to serve the poor and development, making banking a
quasi-public service'

'Venezuela’s military accused U.S. forces of killing members of President Nicolás Maduro’s security detail “in cold blood” before seizing the embattled leader and his wife in a pre-dawn raid in Caracas on Saturday. In a nationally televised address, Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino López said the abduction of Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, occurred on Saturday after “the cold-blooded murder of a large part of his security team — soldiers, both men and women, and innocent civilians.” Miami Herald
